War of the Dumbs

As with the previous two years, I'll be doing some special things in order to raise some funds for SGDQ. As before, I'll start out by saying I don't need money for SGDQ, I can absolutely afford any expenses for this trip, but obviously any support toward this is greatly appreciated. I've tried a couple different things in terms of "incentives", but none have really tickled my fancy as a good balance of giving you guys something to donate for, as well as letting me do fun (or not so fun) things. So I've decided to try something a little different this time. Instead of one dumb, we're gonna do a bunch of different dumbs on some Saturdays leading up to SGDQ, and I'll let you guys donate to decide which dumbs I do first. We'll call it the War of the Dumbs (it's a bad name but whatever).
I'll set a deadline maybe a day or two before, and whichever dumb is in the lead at the time will be the dumb I do.

Here's the different things you can donate for (and and idea of what they are if you don't know)

24 Hour Glibathon - Glibathons are long streams where I play a variety of games, from speedruns, to casual games, to races, maybe even an online thing with people. I did a 24 hour stream last summer and really enjoyed it, so I'm eager to do another. This will obviously go 24 hours unless some emergency happens or I fall asleep lol

Randostravaganza 2: The Quickening - Randostravaganza was a race between myself, Chuk (of twitch.tv/whenchukattacks/subscribe fame) and Chaide (of twitch.tv/chaide/subscribe fame), in which we raced SMB3, LoZ, SMW, and SM randomizer all back to back. Chuk recently did another one during a stream recently, and it gave me the inkling to do another. But I won't stop there; I'm going to add on LttP randomizer as well! I'm guessing this will take anywhere from 8-10 hours, randomizers can vary pretty widely depending on how nasty the seeds can be.

SMAS All 5 100% + SM64 120 Star - Coming up this Saturday, April 29th, I'll be racing a bunch of friends in All-Stars + SMW all 5 warpless, with a 70 star victory lap to follow. Not content to let the dumb stop there, I'd like to do All 5 100% with 120 Star to follow. This will also give me another crack at All 5 100%, and see if I can't drop that time by a little (or a lot). This is probably going to take about 10-12 hours.

3D Mario 246ish - The 3D Mario 246 is an occasional race in which people race SM64 70 star, SMS Any%, Galaxy 1 Any%, and Galaxy 2 Any% all in a row. I have absolutely no skill in any of these games, so this would likely be split into 2 days, but I'll likely start this early on a Saturday on the off-chance I'm feeling incredibly dumb. Not really sure exactly how long this one would take... I'd be lucky if it was under 20 hours.

These are all the ones I have planned, but I'm certainly open to suggestions. I've been known to blindly agree to dumbs without much preparation, so if there's something you'd like to see me try, feel free to let me know!

BUT THE DUMBS DON'T STOP THERE. I've got some other fun, longer streams planned, but due to other time constraints or scheduling with other people, I won't have these as an option for the donation war.

1000 Follower Special - This is suddenly rapidly approaching. I've had my idea for my 1K follower special long before I even thought I'd get close to this mark, but for now I'm keeping it under wraps (at least about as well as I normally keep things secret :P) Once that mark is hit, I'll announce what it is and work on setting a date for it.

LawGlibathon? AweSoathon? one of those - Lawso (of twitch.tv/lawso42 fame) and I are rooming together for SGDQ, and we decided it'd be fun to maybe do a joint marathon at some point. We've done very little (basically no) planning for this yet, so keep your eyes and ears peeled, as I'm sure we'll have something set up soon enough.

Bucky O'Hard redemption with Chaide - Bucky O'Hare Hard mode was another dumb that I, Chuk, and Chaide tried some time ago. Chuk was a god gamer who was able to get through the entire game, while I quit after accidentally quitting out after a death, and Chaide stopped some time after that. Talking to him recently, we found we were both fairly confident we could redeem ourselves if we tried again, so we're gonna try and do that some time soon. His schedule is changing quite a bit as well as mine, so once we get an idea of a good time that will work, we'll try our hand at the Bucky O'Hard once again.

Another addition to all of this is the Twitch Affliate Program! I was lucky enough to be selected in the first wave of invites that were sent out, and I have gone through all the paperwork to get bits enabled for the stream! So as well as donating, you can also drop some bits in the chat to help put your dumb of choice in the lead.

TL;DR: I'm gonna do a lot of dumbs leading up to SGDQ, if you wanna decide which dumbs come first you can probably give me like a dollar and it'll win.
