  3. > In regards to our AUP, that provision is in place in the event that someone is running malicious software that has yet to be classified as anything more specific. It affords the ability to get such users off our network when necessary, in order to avoid affecting the service quality of our other clients. In your particular case, as pursuant to AUP provision #19, we do allow IRC activities on our network, so that would not outwardly be an issue; I do understand your concern though.

In terms of DDoS attacks, if the PPS or Mbps is high enough, it will trigger our automated DDoS-mitigation system which will in affect null-route the attacked IP for a period of time, for the attack traffic to subside. I'm glad to hear that you're also proactive about this, DDoS attacks certainly can be frustrating.

  7. > Will you be running a Windows or Linux based cloud? It is possible to downgrade a server plan while preserving the data on it, obviously you would have to downgrade appropriately, meaning you wouldn't be able to downgrade 20GB of data onto a 10GB plan without there being an issue of concern that would need to be addressed by you before the downgrade can occur.
