Noblesse Fanfic Part 33

Tao: The location we got from Muzaka has been cleared out.
Kate: Damn it!
Frankenstein: Looks like we'll have to keep searching.

[3rd elder is being hunted by Crombell]
Frankenstein: Tao, tell me where he is right now.
Kate: Do we really have to save him?
Frankenstein: Yes. We still need him.
Kate [sighs]: If you want, I can do it.
Frankenstein: …
Kate: …
Tao: …
Frankenstein: You just want to punch him in the face, don't you?
Kate: Yep.
Frankenstein: …
Frankenstein: Fine. As long as he's alive.
Kate: Kay.
Frankenstein: Do you need any backup?
Kate: No. I got this.

[3rd elder is cornered]
[Kate suddenly slams into one of the elite guards turning it into a pile of scrap]
3rd: What the-?
Kate: Shut up. There are three left. Are you going to fight, or sit there and be useless?
3rd: Y-yeah. Right.
Mechanical man: Who are you?
Kate: None of your business.
[Kate raises her sword and charges]
[The guards try to punch her, but she ducks cuts off one of their legs, the arm of another one and an arm from the metal man]
[3rd: Who the hell is she?]
[The last guard tries to attack 3rd, but he stares at him and causes an explosion]
[Kate makes dark spears rain down from the sky, pinning them in place.]
[She makes another pass and cuts the guards to pieces and they explode]
[Just the metal man is left]
Mechanical man: Who are you?
Kate: Hm. You're metal. So you probably don't need that body.
[Kate rips his head off with her bare hands]
Kate: Now tell us where Crombell is.
Mechanical man [laughing]: You're right. I don't need that body. But I'm programmed to self destruct.
Kate: Oh yeah? Can you do it with radio waves? Cause you're not connected to your body anymore.
Mechanical man: …
Kate: I'm going to take that as a no. Now give us Crombell's location.
Mechanical man: No.
Kate: Bet it's stored in your memory.
[Mechanical man powers down]
Kate: Huh. I guess it doesn't have a power supply in its head. Oh well. I'll just take it with me.
3rd: Um, who are you?
Kate: Oh yeah. I forgot about you. Here. Hold this for a second.
[Puts the head in his hands]
[Then punches him in the face hard]

Kate: You know you're damn lucky we still need you alive.

Kate [with hands on hips]: In answer to your earlier question: I am Kate. And yes, I did save you. And no, I didn't want to, you 3rd elder asshole!
Kate: This is all your fault! You and your asshole friends at the union. You've managed to create an apocalypse. Congrats! And now you're trying to die and leave us to clean up the mess! So why don't you stand up, take your balls out of your purse, and grab a broom Lucifer!

[Kate gets on the phone]
Kate: Yeah, it's me … No, I'm fine … Yeah, the dumbass is with me … You said 'alive' … Yeah, see you soon.
[Kate looks at the head]
Kate: Seriously, isn't he a little old to be playing with dolls?
Kate: Whatever. [To 3rd] Come on, asshole. We're leaving.
Kate [pauses]: Actually, as long as I have you here…

[Kate tosses the head to Tao]
Tao: What the-?
Kate: See if you can pull Crombell's location out of its head. You should probably use a stand alone network. We don't know what it's capable of.
Tao: Um, yeah. Ok.
Kate [to 3rd]: Get dusting, Lucifer!
3rd: You really don't like me, do you?
Kate: Nope.
Tao: Kate?
Kate: Yeah?
Tao: I'm glad we're friends.
Kate: Thanks?
Kate: Also Tao, I need to talk to you about something…

Tao: He's activating the attack satellites.
Frankenstein: Damn it! I need to stop him right now!
Tao: Unfortunately stopping Crombell and stopping the satellites might be two different things.
Frankenstein: Goddamn it….
Rai: I will stop the satellites.

Kate: Tao, get me Muzaka.

Kate: Muzaka you've transferred your power to him before. I don't know if your power can reach into space like his, but even if it can't you can still help him.
Muzaka: What are the rest of you going to do?
Kate: We're going to meet up with Frankenstein and kick Crombell's ass.
Kate: Muzaka, you're the only one that can help Rai. Tao will give you the coordinates. It's up to you but you know perfectly well what will happen if you don't help. And it's not like you're uninvolved. He attacked your people with those satellites too.
Muzaka: …
Kate: Muzaka if you want to help, now is the time. I'll see you later.
Lunark [sighs]: That girl… she really isn't afraid of anything.
Lunark: Tao, give me the coordinates of both Frankenstein and the Noblesse.
Muzaka: What? Why?
Lunark: You go help the Noblesse and I'll go help Frankenstein.
Kentas: What about the rest of us?

[Frankenstein fighting Crombell]
[Explosion]
M-21: Is that where the Frankenstein is fighting?
Lunark: We should join him quickly.
Kate [smiling]: Hey Lunark, family outing?

[They walk up to the fight and Karius shoots an arrow at Crombell]
Frankenstein: What the-?
Kate: Yo, Frankenstein! Family outing?
[Frankenstein smiles and sighs]
Frankenstein: Sure. Family outing.
Kate [smiles fearlessly]: Let's get him guys!
[Kate transforms into her black form with wings]
Crombell: What the hell!? Who is that!?
[Kate slams into him]
Kate: Nice to meet you, asshole! I'm Kate!
[Crombell: What the hell!? She can use that power too!? And to such an extent!?]
[Crombell: Is she just as strong as him? That's impossible!]
[Rael and Takio attack]
[Then M-21 hits him]
M-21: Hey Crombell! I've been waiting for this!

[Regis and Seria attack]
Frankenstein: Hey Karius, how much time do you need?
Karius: Quite a bit. I need enough power to overcome that bloodstone.

Frankenstein: Well let's hope they can buy us enough time.

[Kate chops off his arm]
[Lunark and M-21 attack]
[Regis and Seria attack]
[Rael and Takio attack]
[Kate brings down black lightning again]
[Crombell is wrecked, but he recovers]
Crombell: Hahaha. It's useless! No matter what you do I can recover. I have obtained the power of a god!
Kate [hands on hips]: So what?
Crombell: What!?
Kate: So what? Even if you are a god we'll still kill you!
Crombell: You!
Kate: I don't care if you're a god or the devil himself! I'll still kill you! Besides you've already lost. In case you haven't noticed, you're the only one left. Even if you somehow manage to beat us and survive, all your lackeys are gone. So much for your new world!
[Kate fires black lightning at him blasting off his arm again]
Crombell: You…
[Kate lands and walks toward him]
Kate: I will destroy that ambition of yours! All of your hopes and dreams will turn to ash! I will give you the gift of true despair! And only then will I allow you to die!
[Kate charges with her sword and slashes him across the chest]
[As if waiting for a signal the others attack in pairs again]
[Kate then makes dark spears rain from the sky, pinning him in place]
Karius: Ready!
[Karius fires his arrow blasting off Crombell's arms]
Crombell: Hehehe. That's still not enough to take me down!
Frankenstein: I know. That's why I got you this!
[Frankenstein launches his attack with both spears]
[Crombell's body is obliterated]
Crombell: I can still recover… as long as I have the bloodstone…
[Bloodstone cracks]
Crombell: What!?
Frankenstein: Oops~ Looks like that thing is done too.
[Kate chuckles]
Kate: So who's going to do the honors? Frankenstein? M-21? You guys wanna call dibs?
M-21: I don't want him to die too quickly…
Kate: We could drop him in the ocean. Without the arms and legs he'll slowly drown.
Frankenstein: I like the idea. Or I could feed him to the dark spear. That's always fun.
Kate: So many exciting possibilities… Is there a way to make him explode?
Karius: Man, you guys are pretty vicious…
Frankenstein: Hm. We could stick him in a freezer and watch him slowly freeze to death.
Kate: I don't have the patience for that. M-21, what do you think?
M-21: Hmm. I don't know. They're all good options….
Takio: E-even M-21?
Lunark: Oh Tao contacted me through my people. He says they destroyed the satellites.
[Everyone looks relieved]
Crombell: Hehehe.
Frankenstein: What's so funny?
Crombell: You think that was my plan? That was just an unexpected bonus. My original plan was to use nuclear warheads. They should be launching anytime now! Even though you've beaten me, your world will still die! Hahaha!
Everyone: …
Kate: You sure about that?
Everyone: ?
Crombell: What!?
Kate: Hey Lunark, contact Tao. Tell him to ask 3rd elder about Plan B.

[Nuclear weapons launching]
Ikhan: Is this a prank?
Tao: No, it's real.
3rd: Yeah, I can confirm the warheads are getting ready for launch.
Tao: Huh? Lunark is contacting me. She's asking about Plan B. 3rd?
3rd: I'm on it.
[The nuclear warheads are shut down]
3rd: It's done.
Tao: Hey Lunark? It's taken care of.
Ikhan: You mean you shut down all the nuclear warheads?
Tao: Yep!
Ikhan: But how… what happened?
Tao [giggling]: Kate happened.
Rai and Muzaka: !
Shinwu: Kate? You mean one of our teachers? That Kate?
Tao: Yep.
Muzaka: But how…?
Tao: So a while back we had to save the 3rd elder from Crombell. Kate offered to do it and while she was there she brought up the possibility of the satellites not being Crombell's original plan and wondered if he planned to use nuclear warheads.
Tao: She asked if we had a way to stop that and suggested that we plant EMPs in all the places where they were stored. They can't launch if you knock out the computers. So 3rd elder sent his men to infiltrate and place EMPs, just in case.
3rd: I was skeptical but Tao insisted that if it was that woman we should listen. Looks like he was right…
Rai [smiles]: Kate notices things.
Tao [nods]: Kate notices things.
Muzaka: Damn…
Ikhan: I had no idea our teacher was like that…
Tao: Well no one in this house is really normal…
