  1. Team Fortress 2 from the game developer Valve Software has been a popular game under the casual and the more hardcore gamers for the last four years.
  2. The "wacky" first-person shooter where hats are serious business and 9 main-characters are a group of murder-loving lunatics reached new popularity heights when the game became "Free to play" for the gaming masses June, 2011.
  3. After this event the amount of people playing Team Fortress 2 per day skyrocketed to almost a 100.000 people! Introducing a lot of people to the joy and experience of public Team Fortress 2.
  4. Team Fortress 2 on the other hand has also a more serious side, as it supports multiple competitive leagues over the world as e-sport.
  5. In these leagues teams duke it out to claim victory for price money and show the real meaning of the "team" in Team Fortress 2.
  6. This either happens in full scale battles of 9 versus 9 players, also known as highlander, or at the moment more competitive 6 versus 6 mode, where the tension is high, victories are claimed and losses are suffered by small mistakes.
  7. The biggest and most competitive league in Team Fortress 2 is the European Team Fortress 2 League (ETF2L), supplying entertainment and games for people in Europe and abroad.
  8. This league supports over 300 teams and 2100 people in playing Team Fortress 2.
  9.
  10. In this league we, team "unity", play and compete in the 6 versus 6 mode with other teams to win tournaments and league seasons.
  11. The team was founded by current team leader and scout "George" (CZE) joined by his fellow countryman and soldier Hitm@n (CZE), wanting to establish a team capable of competing with the top of the European Team Fortress 2 scene.
  12. With this goal in mind they started searching for talented and dedicated people from the Team Fortress 2 community.
  13. The third one to join their ranks was Hitm@n's old teammate "rock" (ITA) from the ETF2L, Season 10 Division 3 DAKKA.prime team making the scout pair for team "unity" complete.
  14. Fourth in line was the ex-VYE Soldier "Mightyme" (NL), who experienced the brutal competition in the first division in ETF2L, Season 10.
  15. Later on MightyMe would make the switch to demoman for the team to complement the play style and strengths better.
  16. Mid-January they found their fifth member and current medic of the team "Kastos" (NL), a relative unknown player from the fifth division in ETF2l showing enough promise in trainings to bring him in for the team.
  17. Last but certainly not least to join their ranks was the soldier "Moogle" (GER), a very well-known player in the European Team Fortress 2 scene having played for successful and strong teams like n2o-gaming, Trick17 and vier//red.
  18.
  19. Current Line-up:
  20.
  21. Demoman: MightyMe
  22. Medic: Kastos
  23. Soldier (Pocket): Hitm@n
  24. Soldier (Roamer): Moogle
  25. Scout: rock
  26. Scout: George
  27.
  28.
  29. With this roster our team started training and signed up for the ETF2l Season 11, where we were placed in Division 3.
  30. This however did not limit us to explore our boundaries and try to take on tougher opponents, resulting in the fact that we are currently able to compete with most Division 2 and even some Division 1 teams!
  31. We aspire to keep improving over the coming months and move up in the ranks of the ETF2L divisional system and claim our spot in the top of the scene.
  32.
  33. To reach this goal we need your support though. To be able to train, have tactics sessions, official matches and community events we require a Team Fortress 2 match server (preferably personal choice, since connection quality to servers varies greatly for people based on location an provider in Team Fortress 2).
  34. This way we can train on a regular basis, invite friends and opponents for a match and host events on our server whilst promoting our sponsors name.
  35. We would also appreciate a reliable manager team to support us managing games, updates, events, LAN-events and help us and Team Fortress 2 reach a wider audience.
  36. Lastly we aim to make our collaboration a long-term, mutual-beneficial one so that we can proudly present ourselves to the Team Fortress 2 scene as part of your community.
  37.
  38. We offer an aspiring team of 6 talented, dedicated people striving to improve in the European Team Fortress 2 scene and have a good time whilst doing it.
  39. We aim to have a balance between being serious and having a laugh with each other in and between games. Lastly, we as team aim to pratice 5 nights a week, so that we keep improving and are able to represent your name with high-quality Team Fortress 2.
  40.
  41. We hope we provided you with enough information about ourselves, our goals and our needs to reach this goals. We hope to hear from you soon.
  42.
  43. Sincerely,
  44.
  45. Team "unity"
