- I used that guide to set-up some stuff so far.
- I have used steamCMD, in C:\a3server\steam, to set up a folder for arma 3 in C:\a3server\a3\master. I then used symbolic links to create a server1 folder in C:\a3server\a3\server1. In this server1 folder I have created a basic folder structure, with server_config folder containing the start of a restart file, and server config file. The server has yet to be launched once though.
- Stuff that needs doing:
- Setup steamCMD to auto-update master files and also to update files in the server1 folder (eg server exe file, dlls, etc)
- Install exile mod to server 1 folder and adjust restart batch file accordingly with mission / server compiling, cleanup scripts for database, deletion of log files, etc
- Run the server and update the difficulty settings as seen in the forum guide.
- Open ports so server shows up in browsers
- Setup BattlEye
- Use batch file to make servers share ban list
- Add server-side mod to better control AI skill from forum post
- Add server-side briefing screen mod
- Add key to enable JSRS Lite and other scriptless mods (blastcore? :s) that are popular
- Setup restart schedule via tool / batch file
- Setup restart notifications
- Setup server full-restart schedule (I need to help with this to ensure overwatch stuff restarts properly)
- Add required stuff to startup folder for exile server to run on server-startup
- Setup development server with same spec as server1
- Setup github
