  1. Twenty years had past since the great plague swept through the elven population of the world. Elves had long been blessed by the God's with long life and youthful beauty, until one day every elf began to age to match their human counterparts, suddenly in the middle of an otherwise peaceful day. This rapid aging resulted in the death of several thousand elves all across Nefetria. The church claimed it was a blight placed on the world by the evil cultists that worship false gods, while the Elves themselves blamed a dark goddess said to have been sealed away long ago. Regardless, only a few months later those elves still alive had their youth returned to them, marking the end of the evil sickness.

  3. The Nine, the leaders of the elven circle, have stated such an evil will never occur again, that precautions have been taken to assure the world of this. Over their sacred woods, which they say guides and guards all elves in the world, they have placed a protector.

  5. So now the world returns to its steady-state, as slowly the elven population because to recoup its numbers.

  10. O and behold, a curse breathed from the heavens, from the maw of Apophis and his bastard Hastur. And low were laid the elves, who foolishly clung to their evil God, who so usurped the teachings of Ammon and Isis. Yet Apophis is not a loving god. He loves not his children who cling and pray to him more so than a tree that bears fruit, for its fate is to fall to the Earth and perish.
  11.
  12. Yet Ammon and Isis show love to all their blessed children, and so life was given back to those laid low. Elves were blessed with the long life once more. As punishment for their sins he took their sleep, where in dreams their children are closest to their eternal parents until their souls pass. So pray thanks to the lord above, pray thanks to father Ammon.
