  1. Drokeval “Blood Serpent” (Dragon Vampire Naga) **[Otaku/N]**
  2.
  3. Anatomy/Biology
  4. Types: males and females differ in size and mass, otherwise no subspecies exist.
  5. Description: a massive draconic naga of the Gaunorri region, having armor-like scales, horns, and a pincer-like extension at the tip of the tail. Females have the most prominent of these traits.
  6. Diet: bodily fluids, liquids; primarily hematophagous, prefers blood and fluid from a single source (usually a mate).
  7.
  8. Male
  9. Average height/length: (top of head to end of torso) 0.9-1.4 m (3-4.5 ft); top of head to tip of tail) 10-12 m (33-39 ft)
  10. Average weight: 0.5 tons
  11. Average build: masculine ectomorphic, “ottermode oval”; lithe tailed
  12. Average lifespan: ???
  13. Female
  14. Average height/length: (top of head to end of torso) 1.5-2.2 m (5-7 ft); (top of head to tip of tail) 13-15 m (45-50 ft)
  15. Average weight: 1.1 tons
  16. Average build: feminine mesomorphic, “hourglass pear”; heavy tailed
  17. Average lifespan: ???
  18.
  19. Extra: saliva contains a powerful venom which contains strikingly similar effects to that of Nitric Oxide, causing victims to experience permanent symptoms which are similar yet drastically exaggerated in comparison (such as: increased memory and behavior, heightened immune system, dilated arteries for improved blood flow, reduced inflammation, improved sleep quality, developed sense recognition, etc.), primarily heightening both fluid/blood generation and bodily sensitivity; Drokeval coils have crushing power comparable to their body mass (females averaging out at 2,200 psi or 152 bar) with humanoid body muscles boasting no less than an insignificantly lower margin of strength; mobility is one of their most iconic traits in that they are impossibly swift for their size and can keep up these impressive speeds over long distances, all this once again relatable to their overall mass and size (the more physical mass, the faster); Drokeval have an abnormal sixth sense that seems to be a cross between electromagnetism and temperature, the sense itself allowing the user to locate and home in on either individually. The “pincers” at the end of their tail are actually a pair of stingers, able to administer a dose of powerful paralytic venom with a single sting.
  20.
  21. Classification: among a unique category even among the “Gaunorri Demons”, they are one of the very few races dubbed as Apex Bastroza; the only chance most races have of surviving an encounter with one is if the Drokeval happens to be single and searching for a mate, and the individual in question also happens to be a suitable match for them. A Drokeval who has already acquired a mate may simply see a stranger as one of two things: trespasser or food. It is said that a gift of invaluable rarity may appease a Drokeval into letting you go, but chances are you will be dead or already claimed as a mate by the time their presence is known.
  22. System: Unspoken Oligarchy-Anarchy. More or less survival of the fittest, but all natives know who is in charge; the Bastroza seem able to do more than effectively communicate with the local species, going so far as take command of the lesser beings and issue complex orders which will be followed to the “T”. As for Drokeval specifically, they are typically the ones who use their “minions” for especially personal gain, from ordering them to fell an intruding species to merely serving as their next feeding source.
  23. Values: rarities, jewels and precious gemstones, gifts, returned affection.
  24. Religion: atheist
  25. Settlements/colonies: exclusively solitary, they almost never venture beyond the wasteland of Gaunorri.
  26. Diplomacy: the rest of Naheila recognizes them as mythical “guardians of the bloodied ash”, once thought in ancient legend to be the actual source of Gaunorri’s blood-red landscape; worldwide, many warriors who have reached the very peak of their own elite groups are expected to undergo a journey of worth that is essentially “venture to the blood desert and take its heart”: one was to hunt down a Drokeval and slay it, afterwards retrieving a single one of its violet armored “plate” scales and returning with it. Returning with a single “plate” scale (no matter how small) is seen as an achieved impossibility, as only two in recorded history have managed to do so. Drokeval scales (as few as they come) are seen as invaluable for both their rarity and density, usually crafted into an accessories or pieces of equipment; the “plates” on the other hand are priceless, and of the two prior ones collected one was fashioned into a shield, while the other was formed into a trophy that still exists on public display to this very day.
  27. Technology: None by themselves.
  28. Traditions: they will not initiate intercourse until their potential mate has accepted a gift that is their most valued treasure.
  29. Conflicts/Issues: self-immunity to their venom and inability to feed off each other makes them resentful of their own kind, since they cannot subjugate or survive off their own kind; this leads to bitter rivalries, lower birth rates, and isolation.
