- Mike had been meditating and expanding his mind. His mind reaching out to the various arcane planes. He'd been trying to just gather more knowledge from each plane as he had been experimenting with various mixtures of energy from each of them seeing what he could make.
- He had found various combinations that had intrigued him. Having been able to make Food and objects such as Clothing or rings. But though his work and research he'd been finding snippets and whispers of something just out of reach.
- He'd been interested in what ever this knowledge fragment could be. And so he decided to delve further into what exactly it could be. Little by little he was slowly coming to understand about this mysterious object. To be more exact it was a Fruit, said to be some off-shoot of a divine Fruit tree. This fruit how ever didn't hold the same energy or qualities but instead had been grown by Mages of old to be high in arcane energy. Fundamentally changing it to something lesser.
- Though being a Lesser fruit of power, it's qualities were desired by anyone that sought to be a great mage. It's whisperings lingering through out the planes of mana that were used to create it from the original fruit's seeds.
- It was these whisperings, these Echo's left behind in each of the Planes used to perverse the original divine fruit would be what any mage worth their title would have to use to recreate such a fruit. Though not as potent as the original created from the Divine Fruit's seed. A good mage could make a copy of it from using the same elements it was made from.
- It was here that Mike had been stumped for the longest time. Having to figure out the combination that that made up this sought after replica of the fruit. He'd gotten the ratios of what to pull from most of it but the last two of Arcane and Light was eluding him. As with each failure the fruit formed would degrade rapidly. The orange skin becoming a sickly brown, and juices seeping out with a wretched stench.
- He would grumble and throw a few profanities with each failure as each one took the better part of a week to finalize but on the thirteenth try something went right. He had nearly had to have the Light element at a four to two ratio compared to the amount of Arcane he poured into the making of the fruit.
- The degradation of the fruit was slower but still not stable enough to be permanent. Though by the twenty fourth attempt he had finally figured out the amount need of the last two elements for finalize the creation he had been after for the better part of half a year. The druid stared at the Fruit as it radiated magical energy. A sense or pride and accomplishment filling the young mage. He took the fruit from the large pot it had grown in. looking over it, the question raising in his mind, just what did it taste like
