He cares about Octavia, and as many anons already said, it was probably an arranged marriage by Stolas' parents for political power.

You say that as though just because he's a godawful husband, it's impossible for him to try to be a decent father.

Many signs point to there being problems in the marriage even back when Octavia was little. And while he is still fault for cheating and causing stress on the marriage. It's not like that automatically means he fakes his love for his daughter.

If anything I'd be wary for rooting for Blitzo, by every indication he

>consistently cheats and swindles people he enters into a relationship with, evidenced by him walking out and stealing from Verosika
>no immediate evidence he has any feelings for Stolas, is simply using him for access to the living world
>constantly intrudes on the privacy of his employees and "friends"
>is willing to endanger the lives of his ""friends"" and coworkers over frivolous and meaningless feuds and tasks

I am fairly certain there will be a reckoning for Blitzo, at the very least I would expect his """relationship""" with Stolas to come under threat when Stolas comes to the realization he's jeopardising his marriage and relationship with his daughter over what is essentially a fling.

In the HB trailer theres a shot of Stolas looking shocked at what appears to be a fancy party.
Maybe Blitzo shows up for some reason and all of Stolas' high society associates find out he's been fkin an imp.

Yeah I can't recall much about Stolas and Blitzo's relationship that indicates they have any true affection, just that Stolas finds Blitzo cute and has a good time between the sheets with him. That's not exactly the foundation of a solid, lasting, fulfilling relationship, but it would probably be enough to get me out of bed if I'd been trapped in a frigid cash-and-connections motivated union for a few decades, even if it wasn't entirely healthy. Sooner or later somethings going to break there.

You could measure the amount of screen time she's gotten with a stopwatch, but from what little we've seen of her I get the sense that she's pretty much what I thought Stolas was going to be when I first saw him: a snobby elitist who bergen regards imps as people.

I'm wondering if/when we'll see Barbie make an appearance and in what capacity. Blitzo seems to act like a dckwheel toward most people, but he's very affectionate toward his adoptive daughter. I wonder how his relationship with his blood related family is.
