「テロリストからキョウトと称される組織…
NACから利益供与を受けていた証拠が出揃い、
関与していた閣僚らは全員、排除されました」
Darlton: Yes, the organization is known as “Kyoto” by the terrorists, but publicly they’re known as the NAC. We’ve already gathered the evidence of the secretaries that have received profit sharing bribes from them and remove the guilty parties.

「そうか。
特区構想に慌てたネズミは思いの外多かったが、
これでつつがなく事を進められる」
Cornelia: I see. There were more rats panicking about the Special Administrative Zone than expected, but with this, things should now proceed smoothly.

ダールトン
「はい。
[黒の騎士団]含め、NACを後ろ盾としていた
テロ組織は力を失うことになるでしょう」
Darlton: Yes. The terrorist organizations that were receiving support from the NAC will now lose power, the [Black Knights] included.

「そして、そのNAC本体も、
今や我がブリタニアの手中に落ちつつあります」
Darlton: And now, most of what belonged to the NAC is in Britannia’s hands.

「黒の騎士団は存在意義のみならず、
その地盤も失うというわけだ…」
Cornelia: The Black Knights will lose not only their reason for existing, but the very ground the stood upon...

検診を受けろって言われてて…」
Haruto: Well, L-elf said I should keep going to the Ra Cailum for periodic checkups, so...

「ああ、こないだまで具合悪そうだったもんな」
Koji: Right, yeah, you weren’t looking too good the other day.

「う、うん。それで、みんなで何の話を?」
Haruto: Y-Yeah. Anyways, what were you all talking about?

「例の宣言についてさ。
大きな波紋を呼んでいるからな」
Kamille: About the announcement. It’s causing a lot of aftereffects.

「艦長達も黒の騎士団と話し込んでる。
向こうでも徹底交戦するか、ユーフェミアを
信じるかで割れてるみたいだよ」
Kei: The captains are also speaking to the Black Knights about it. Apparently they still can’t decide if they should keep up the fight against Britannia or have faith in what Euphemia is promising.

Duo: Feels like there’s a princess in every world that can make miracles happen using nothing but their words.

Banagher: Along with people that want to take advantage of them...

そういうのに振り回されがちなんだよなあ」
Duo: Still, guys like us usually end up being convinced by words like those.

「実感がこもってるわね。経験があるの?」
Asuka: You sound like you know what you’re talking about. Speaking from personal experience?

「主にヒイロがな。
俺はその割を食わされる方だよ」
Duo: Well it was mostly Heero that was convinced. I just kind of went along with it.

チャム
「ねえねえ、どうしてあのお姫様が言ったことで
こんな騒ぎになってるの?」
Cham: Hey, so, why is there such a commotion about what the Princess said?

「そうだな…
もし、ドレイクが和平を結ぼう、占領した領地も
解放しようと言って来たら、どう思う?」
Show: How do I explain this...? Okay, what would you think if Drake said he wanted peace and would release all the areas he’d occupied?

チャム
「全然、信じられない。
何かの罠に決まってるわ」
Cham: Oh I wouldn’t believe that for a second. It’d definitely just be some kind of trap.

ショウ
「なら、それをリムルが言ったとしたら?」
Show: Then what if Elmelie said it instead?

チャム
「それだったら信じちゃうかも知れないけど、
ドレイクがいなくなったわけじゃないし…」
Cham: Well, I might believe it then, but since Drake would still be around, I dunno...

「今まさに
それと同じような状況に陥ってるのさ」
Show: That’s exactly the situation we’re in the middle of right now.

「実際には、これまで虐げられてきた
日本人の心情とか、奪われた物を取り戻せる
期待感とか、色々あるんだろうけど…」
Show: There’s a lot of factors coming into play here too. The Japanese naturally have their own feelings form the oppression they’ve faced, but they also want to get back everything that was taken from them...

「だけど、みんなで助かる道があるんなら、
今はそっちを選んだ方が良いと思う…」
Haruto: But if there’s a path we can take that means no one has to die, then I think we should take it...

「いかにも日本人らしい、
楽観的かつ事なかれ主義の考え方ね」
Asuka: That’s a very Japanese way of thinking alright. As optimistic and passive as you’d expect.

「言うなよ。ハルトの国は、ドルシアに攻められて
無条件降伏させられちまってるんだ。
そう思っても仕方がねえぜ」
Koji: Don’t say that. Haruto’s country was invaded by Dorssia and forced into unconditional surrender. You can’t blame him for thinking like that.

カミーユ
「…ユーフェミア皇女はブリタニア帝国の代表と
いうわけじゃない。アセイラム姫のように
特別な力を持っているわけでもない」
Kamille: ...Princess Euphemia isn’t a representative of the Britannian Empire however. She doesn’t have the kind of political clout as someone like Princess Asseylum.

カミーユ
「だから、あの宣言は上の人間の意志によって
いつ覆されるかわからないぞ」
Kamille: So her declaration could be overturned at any time, if someone with higher standing than her decides that.

アスカ
「同感…っていうか、そうなるんじゃないの」
Asuka: That’s right. ...In fact, I’d say it’s bound to happen.

「シビアだね、お前」
Koji: You’re pretty harsh, you know that?

アスカ
「現実的と言って欲しいわね」
Asuka: I’d prefer you call it being realistic.

Zero: Tomorrow, I will go to the opening ceremony of the Special Administrative Zone in response to Euphemia’s summons.

そちらからも隠密性に優れた戦力を
派遣してもらいたい」
Zero: My forces will be keeping a close watch on the situation, but I will require that you dispatch a team that is capable of acting covertly.

「式典自体がブリタニアの罠だという
可能性が高いため、万一の場合には
黒の騎士団の撤退支援を頼むことになる」
Zero: As there is an extremely high probability the ceremony is a trap laid by the Britannians, I want you ready to provide support for the Black Knights in the event an emergency withdraw is required.

ブライト
「それが条件か?」
Bright: Those are your conditions?

ゼロ
「そうだ。
事が済めば、そちらの世界の危機回避に協力する」
Zero: Yes. After this incident is resolved, we will assist in averting your world’s crisis.

ブライト
「了解した」
Bright: Understood.

「では、藤堂氏の救出や式根島での作戦と同じく、
オケアノスが出向きましょう」
Shima: Then we will have the Oceanus deploy, just like when we participated in the operation to rescue Todo and at Shikine Island.

「ああ、頼む。
葛城二佐、派遣メンバーの選定と
黒の騎士団側との作戦協議は君に任せる」
Bright: Right, we’ll be counting on you. Lieutenant Colonel Katsuragi, it’ll be up to you to decide who will be a part of the dispatch team and to iron out the details of the operation with the Black Knights.

Misato: Understood, sir.

「他に質問は?」
Zero: Are there any further questions?

「あなたは行政特区に参加するつもりですか?
日本人が権利を取り戻せる公的な措置ですし、
参加を希望する団員も多そうですが」
Sumeragi: Do you support the Special Administrative Zone? It’s intended to return the public rights that were stripped from the Japanese, after all. I’ve no doubt that are many in your organization that wish for exactly that.

「ユーフェミアの主張通りならば、
日本人は平等に扱われるようになるだろう。
だが、日本という独立国家を取り戻せるわけではない」
Zero: If Euphemia’s claims are indeed true, then the Japanese would from then on be treated as equals. However, that would not mean Japan would regain its independence.

「無論、この一歩を足掛かりに
日本を真に取り戻せる可能性もあるだろうが…
全てはユーフェミアの真意を問うてからだ」
Zero: Of course, I acknowledge this could potentially be the first step in laying the foundation to return Japan to what it once was... But that will all be made clear once I question Euphemia’s true intentions.

Akira: Might want to keep that to yourself, don’t you think, Hiroshi? The walls have ears, you know.

Akira: Anyways, there’s a heck of a lot of Japanese here.

(Zero takes off his mask.)

「ずっと隠れてきたからな。
どこかの帝国のせいで」
Lelouch: It’s because I’ve been in hiding for so long. All thanks to a certain empire, I’m afraid.

ユーフェミア
「ほら、やっぱりルルーシュだった!」
Euphemia: Ah, I knew it was you, Lelouch!

ルルーシュ
「やはり、君は勘がいい。
だから、会いたくなかったんだ」
Lelouch: You’re as perceptive as always. That’s exactly why I wanted to avoid ever meeting you.

ユーフェミア
「でも、仮面を外したということは、
協力してくれるんでしょう?」
Euphemia: Now that you’ve taken off your mask, does that mean you’ll work together with me?

ルルーシュ
「いや。
最後に直接、顔を合わせたかっただけさ」
Lelouch: No. I just wanted to see you in person one last time.

(Lelouch takes out a gun.)

Euphemia: ...!

ルルーシュ
「セラミックと竹を中心としたニードルガン。
これは検知器では見つからない」
Lelouch: This is a needle gun made out of ceramic and bamboo. Not something that could be discovered by a metal detector.

ユーフェミア
「ルルーシュ…あなた、撃たないでしょ」
Euphemia: Lelouch... You won’t shoot me.

ルルーシュ
「そう、俺は撃たない。
撃つのは君だよ、ユフィ」
Lelouch: That’s right, I won’t. You’ll be the one doing the shooting, Euphy.

ユーフェミア
「えっ?」
Euphemia: Huh?

ルルーシュ
「この式典は、世界中に中継されている。
そこでブリタニアの皇女である君がゼロを撃つ。
どうなると思う?」
Lelouch: This ceremony is being broadcasted globally, and the world is going to see you, a Britannian Princess, shoot Zero. What do you think will happen then?

ユーフェミア
「…暴動になるんじゃないかしら」
Euphemia: ...Rioting would break out, I imagine.

ルルーシュ
「ああ。騙し討ちされたとなれば、
ゼロは殉教者となり、君の信望は地に落ちる」
Lelouch: Right. Zero will become a martyr, tricked into a death trap, and instantly your popularity will hit rock bottom.

「何ふざけているんですか?
私と一緒に日本を…」
Euphemia: What kind of nonsense are you saying? If you just help me with Japan--

「上から一方的に押し付けるのなら、
クロヴィスと同じだな」
Lelouch: If you force it upon us from on-high then it’s as bad as Clovis was.

Euphemia: ...!

「もう全ての条件はクリアされた。
ゼロは生死を彷徨い、奇跡の復活を遂げ称えられる。
人は理屈ではなく、奇跡に弱いものなんだよ」
Lelouch: All the conditions have been cleared. After hovering near death, Zero will be met with cheers when he makes a miraculous recovery. Because people don’t give a damn about reason, but nobody can resist miracles.

「さあ、受け取りたまえ。
メシアは一人でなければならない。
君が偽者だと分かれば、民衆は…」
Lelouch: Now, take the gun. There can only be one messiah, you understand. When the people realize that you’re a false one, they’ll--

ルルーシュ
「うっ…ぐっ、うう…!」
Lelouch: Ugh... Gaaagh...!

ルルーシュ
(左目に痛みが…これは…!?)
Lelouch: (This pain in my left eye... Is it...!?)

Euphemia: Lelouch!?

Lelouch: Stop it! Stop giving me your pity! Spare me your charity! This is something I have to achieve on my own!

「そのためには穢れてもらうぞ、
ユーフェミア・リ・ブリタニア!」
Lelouch: And so for that, I shall now stain your hands with blood, Euphemia li Britannia!

「その名は返上しました!」
Euphemia: I’ve renounced that name!

「いずれ本国から発表があると思いますが、
皇位継承権を返上しました…!」
Euphemia: There’ll probably be a formal announcement from the homeland about it any day now. That I’ve given up my claim to the throne...!

ルルーシュ
「何故…?まさか、ゼロを受け入れたから?」
Lelouch: But why...? It isn’t because you’ve accepted Zero, is it?

ユーフェミア
「私のわがままを聞いてもらうのですから、
それなりの対価は必要でしょう?」
Euphemia: Well I have to pay the price for doing something so selfish, don’t I? Those are the consequences.

「…随分と簡単に捨てられるんだな、君は。
俺のためだとでも言うのか」
Lelouch: ...But I’m sure it wasn’t easy for you to give up. And I suppose you did it for my sake.

「ふふ、相変わらず自信家ね。
ナナリーのためよ」
Euphemia: Hehe, you’re as conceited as you ever were, but no, I did it for Nunnally.

「えっ…?」
Lelouch: Huh...?

ユーフェミア
「学園祭の時に少し話したんだけど…
あの子、言ったの。お兄様と一緒にいられれば、

Lelouch: You win. I’ll amend my plans to help out this Special Zone of yours. But not as your subordinate, of course.

Euphemia: Alright! But you haven’t got very much faith in me, have you?

「ん?」
Lelouch: Hm?

ユーフェミア
「脅されたからって、
私がルルーシュを撃つと思ったの?」
Euphemia: Did you honestly believe that by simply threatening me, I would shoot you?

「ああ、違うんだよ。
俺が本気で命令したら、誰だって逆らえないんだ。

Lelouch: Oh, no, you’ve got it all wrong. When I really want people to follow my orders, they will not resist me. Whether it’s to shoot me, grant pardon to Suzaku, any order at all.

Euphemia: Oh now you’re just being silly.

Darlton: Princess Euphemia! What on Earth’s come over you!? Please, stop this at once, this is—

「ごめんなさい。
でも、日本人は皆殺しにしないといけないの」
Euphemia: I’m sorry. But I can’t let anyone get in the way of killing all the Japanese.

Britannian Soldier: We’ve been ordered to kill all the Japanese here. Princess Euphemia issued the command herself.

Suzaku: Princes Euphemia did!? That’s absurd!

Britannian Soldier: You’re Japanese too, aren’t you?

Devilman: Dammit, there’s just no way we can save them all!

Hiroshi: Stop you’re whining! We have to rescue as many of the Japanese as we can!

(The Oceanus is off to the side of the map, invisible.)

Minato: Wh-Why is this happening...!?

「傍受した通信の内容は?」
Shima: What have they been saying on the communications we intercepted?

「会場内でユーフェミア皇女自ら
日本人を手に掛けたと…!」
Fosetta: They’re saying that Princess Euphemia herself killed one of the Japanese in the audience...!

「周囲に配置されていたブリタニア騎士も、
命令に従って虐殺に加担しているようです!」
Ricerca: And the Britannian knights stationed around the area are slaughtering them by her order!

「何故、憎しみを煽るようなことを…!」
Setsuna: Why is she trying to intensify the hatred...!?

「いくら何でも酷すぎる…!」
Uzuki: This is too much to bear...!

Dita: Captain, we have a transmission from Kallen Kozuki.

「紅月カレン、状況を説明してもらいたい。

Shima: Explain the situation, Kallen Kozuki. Is Zero unharmed?

「探しているけど、まだ…!」
Kallen: I’ve been looking for him, but I still haven’t—

(The Gawain appears.)

C.C.: I’m shocked. I didn’t think you’d go this far.

いや、掛けたつもりはなかった」
Zero: I didn’t use my Geass... Or I should say, I didn’t mean to use it.

これがヤバい力だということくらい…!

Zero: I knew there were risks when we made our contract... You told me how dangerous this power could be...! Nonetheless...!

Zero: This is my order to all Black Knights! Euphemia has become our enemy! The Special Administrative Zone of Japan was a cowardly trap designed to lure us in!

ブリタニア軍を壊滅し、日本人を救い出すのだ!

Zero: All Armored Autonomous Battle Knight Units, advance on the ceremony grounds! Wipe out all Britannian forces, and save the Japanese! Hurry!

「そして、必ずユーフェミアを…
見つけ出して、殺せ!」
Zero: And Euphemia...must be found and killed!

(Kallen appears on the map.)

「やっぱり、始めから私達を
陥れるつもりだったのね!許せない!」
Kallen: It was a trap all along! They were deceiving us from the start! They won’t get away with this!

Todo: Kallen, we’ll handle the area over there!

Kallen: Roger!

(Devilman appears from the main building and flies Hiroshi over to the Oceanus.)

「宙さん!無事で良かった!」
Uzuki: Hiroshi! Thank goodness you’re okay!

「生身の騎士は粗方ぶちのめした!
,残りはナイトメアフレームだけだが、
俺達だけじゃ、止められねえ!」
Hiroshi: We’ve taken care of the knights that were on foot! The Knightmares are all that’s left, but we can’t stop them on our own!

デビルマン
「まだ会場内に日本人が残ってる!
全員が出ねえと、救えるもんも救えねえぞ!」
Devilman: There’s still some Japanese on the grounds! If we don’t send everyone out now, we won’t be able to save them!

「シマ司令、詳しい経緯を説明している暇はない!
日本人救出に力を貸して欲しい!」
Zero: There’s no time to explain everything, Commander Shima! I need your help to save the Japanese!

シマ
「了解した。
各機、直ちに出撃せよ!」
Shima: Understood. Deploy all units at once!

(The player’s team deploys, the Oceanus appears, and Hiroshi transforms into Steel Jeeg.)

オケアノスで足止めをするが、発艦した
ナイトメアフレーム全てを阻止することは困難だ」
Shima: The Avalon is on its way, Zero. We will attempt to intercept it, but we will likely be unable to prevent all the Knightmares from launching.

「了解した、こちらで対処する!」
Zero: Understood. We’ll handle them!


(Scene changes to a map screen of the city.)

「ユーフェミアめ…!
騙し討ちをするなんて!」
Kallen: Damn Euphemia...! This was all just an ambush!

(Suzaku appears in his Lancelot.)

Kallen: (Suzaku...!)

「くそっ…今、お前達に構ってる暇はないのに!
ユフィはどこに…!?」
Suzaku: Dammit...! I don’t have time to deal with them right now! Where’s Euphy...!?

引き続き、ナイトメアフレームを叩き潰せ!」
Zero: To all Black Knights! Continue eliminating the enemy Knightmares!

(Battle 2 begins.)

(This line triggers when Suzaku falls below 50% HP.)

「ここでやられたら、ユフィを探せない…!」
Suzaku: I won’t be able to look for Euphy if I go down here...!

(Suzaku leaves the map.)

(Battle 2 ends when all enemies are defeated.)

Kallen: That’s all of them...!

こっちのエリアのナイトメアフレームは
排除が完了した!」
Ohgi: Zero! We’ve taken out the Knightmares in this area!

Todo: We’ve dispatched the ones here as well.

「では、オケアノスを呼び戻し、撤退する」
Zero: Then we’ll recall the Oceanus and retreat.

(Euphemia appears in a Glasgow.)

Euphemia: Kill them all! Kill all the Japanese!

Kallen: One’s still here!? Just stop it!

(Kallen rushes Euphemia.)

Euphemia: Are you Japanese? How insolent! I am Euphemia li Britannia!

「皇女様が乗ってるなんてね!
みんなの仇、ここで!」
Kallen: The Princess is piloting it!? Then I’ll avenge everyone right here!

「待て、彼女は私がやる」
Zero: Wait. I’ll deal with her.

(Lelouch flies over to Euphemia and disables her mech.)

Euphemia: The Glasgow can’t...! You defiant Japanese!

(Euphemia leaves the Glasgow.)

「生身でまだやるつもりなの!?
どうしますか、ゼロ!?捕虜に…!」
Kallen: She’s still trying to fight back, even on foot!? What do we do, Zero!? Take her prisoner, or...!?

ゼロ
「無駄だよ、もう…」
Zero: There’s no point in doing that anymore...


(Scene changes to a ruined city. Zero exits the Gawain.)

Euphemia: Oh, I thought you were one of the Japanese.

Euphemia: So, I was thinking we could run the Special Administrative Zone of Japan together—Wait... Japan?

「ああ、出来ればそうしたかったよ…君と共に」
Zero: Yes, I would have liked to do that... You and I, together.

(Zero shoots Euphemia.)

Diethard: Of course I was. I don’t know how Zero managed to do it, but it was a better plot than anything I could have ever concocted.
