  1. The guard nodded before heading back to practice on his dummy, slashing at it several times with a pair of blades. The man gulped towards Fravelli's words, he looked pretty pathetic, and would probably smell entirely of sweat or something if it weren't for the fact it was raining a lot. "S-sir! Your mage is in danger! He's in grave danger!" He babbled, before eventually calming down to answer the questions. "Well you see I myself am a mage. My father was a mage too, over in the nearby hold of Nelbadin, you see -- but I'm not sure if you know this by now, he was...killed, by the Jades. And now they're hunting for me, but no one will believe me! It's only a matter of time before they decide to tear this poor village apart to get to me, and the local high magus. I try warning everyone and telling them that they should escort us to some place outside of here, but nobody'll believe me." Fravelli may recall seeing a small passage in the dragon handbook about the Jade dragon flight. Supposedly a small sub-flight that had a penchant for devouring humans. Besides that they're not really well known.
