  1. 12:27LVrMP: that means your PB is literally over 50 minutes behind world record and a 30 second timeloss isn't worth resetting over
  2. 12:28LVrMP: you don't want to trap yourself in endless resets because your beginning of the run isn't perfect
  3. 12:28LVrMP: resetting a ton of runs can make you more tilted and more likely to reset in the future and makes it harder o pb
  4. 12:30LVrMP: also resetting in early game can lead to problems in late game because you haven't played it as much
  5. 12:30LVrMP: when you're first starting out you generally want to finish just about every run even if it has large screwups because it helps you learn much faster than if you reset for large screwups
  6. 12:31LVrMP: unless the mistake is like holy fucking shit pb is impossible/you softlocked
  7. 12:31LVrMP: they've mathematically proven that the best reset policy is to only reset when PB is impossible, and that's assuming that your skill stays constant while you're playing
  8. 12:32LVrMP: when you're new and your skills are constantly improving, your chances of PB are even better even with runs with large mistakes because you're always getting better and improving
  9. 12:34LVrMP: when you're still learning the game, resetting is almost always a bad thing because A: you'll most likely still PB even with mistakes because of how much free timesave you have and B: you're playing to learn and resetting makes learning harder
