  1. It was a chilly summer night. With endermen screeching in the distance and creepers hissing at you from every bush, it was not very safe to take a stroll alone. Despite that, you could always see a bunch of teenagers wandering about in the night. For many it was just a test of courage, to see if they were brave enough, but to some it was more than that. There was a peak on the hills near the village, surrounded by a thick and dense blanket of coniferous trees, perfect for a romantic date under the stars.
  2. Stoyan has seen it many times during the day, but the real challenge was getting up there at night. There were monsters and thieves lurking around every corner, but this was not going to stop him, because tonight was a special night. Though the view from the peak was always beautiful, this was the best time of the year to go stargazing. The Perseid meteor shower was reaching its pinnacle.
  3. So, with his shining diamond sword in one hand, and Stefan's hand in the other, he was pushing through the shrubs and fir branches. Stefan was holding onto his torch, carefully navigating it between the branches, so as not to start a forest fire. He was right behind Stoyan, watching his back.
  4. A small, purple orb, peeking through one of the bushes, caught Stefan's attention.
  5. "Stoyan, look! What is that thing?" he whispered, intrigued by the mysterious, glowing object.
  6. "Don't touch that thing! Let's just keep going," Stoyan warned him, knowing that the forest is full of unpleasant surprises.
  7. Stefan, of course, ignored the warning, and took another step towards the bush, the shiny pearl captivating him.
  8. Stoyan watched as Stefan stood there, hypnotized, with his mouth agape and eyes wide open, staring at the purple object.
  9. He realized what it was, but it was too late.
  10. A tall, dark figure emerged from the bush, letting out a horrifying screech.
  11. "Watch out!" Stoyan yelled, and pushed Stefan out of the way. The creature swung its long arm at him, but he readily dodged the attack. He was an experienced fighter, but he was no match for an enderman.
  12. He lunged at it with his sword, but to no avail. The monster teleported behind him and knocked him down.
  13. He lay on the ground, the world spinning around him. He looked at Stefan, who was watching in fear behind a bush, and then at the monster, which was baring its sharp, ugly teeth in anger. Was this the end? Has his whole life led up to this moment?
  14. He remembered the ring in his pocket. He knew it couldn't be. "Not today, you little shit!" He muttered, blood dripping from his mouth and nose. He slashed the creature's leg off and jumped back to his feet.
  15. "Run!" he yelled as he grabbed Stefan's hand, the creature unable to chase them. He knew that they didn't have much time, as the leg would grow back soon.
  16. They fought through the trees, the sharp, green needles leaving scratches on their faces. A speck of light was visible in the distance. "This must be it," he thought. It was their last hope.
  17. They ran towards the light, fearing that the enderman might catch up.
  18. It grew in size as they came closer. It was, indeed, the exit. They stumbled out of the forest, entering a beautiful field of flowers, illuminated by the full moon.
  19. Hydrangea, lavender and salvia bushes adorned with morning dew. The scene was nothing short of breathtaking, but they were already out of breath from running for their lives.
  20. Stefan wrapped his arms around him and pressed his head against his chest.
  21. "You saved us! I can't believe it," he said, "nobody I know has ever survived an enderman attack!"
  22. Stoyan smiled without saying anything. This could've been the end for them, but fate was on their side, once again.
  23. "You like the surprise?" He finally asked.
  24. "It's the most beautiful place I've ever seen!" Stefan exclaimed, the excitement obvious in his voice.
  25. "Not as beautiful as you," Stoyan replied, gazing into his dark brown eyes. Countless meteors grazed the atmosphere, leaving a purple streak behind them.
  26. "I have to ask you something," he said, his hand reaching into his pocket. Stefan's eyes grew wide. Stoyan got onto his knees, pulling out a ring.
  27. "Stefan," he continued, "we've known each other for a long time. The world around us is cruel, and not even our own families accept our love. It can't go on like this, but I'm not willing to let you go. Please, run away with me. We could start a new life somewhere far away, we could be happy together. I love you more than anything, Stefan. Will you marry me?"
  28. "Yes!" He shouted, not even trying to hold back his excitement, "Of course I will!"
  29. He leaned in and pressed his lips against Stoyan's. This was going to be a new chapter in their lives, one without hate and fear. It was time to take their fate into their own hands.
  30. "Weiß will be waiting for us at the dock tomorrow morning," Stoyan said, "he's going to take us to Ludwigsburg, a small town in western Germany. I think we will fit right in."
  31. "It doesn't matter where he takes us, as long as you are with me. I can't wait," Stefan replied.
  32. They made love in the sea of flowers that night. The cold breeze did not bother them, as they could feel each others warmth while cuddling. They did not know what the future holds, but they did know one thing: They would never part. No matter what life would throw at them, they would not leave each other's side.
  33. Never one without the other.
  34.
  35. THE END
