  1. I'm almost at the end of my tether. Mercedes ownership is so inconvenient and troublesome it's beyond words. I've had my car 6 months and it's been an absolute pain in the neck. I won't bore you with the details of what's wrong with the car but suffice to say I had to call out your breakdown service to have my car returned to the dealer with a fault. The nightmare that was Europcar and your partner in providing a courtesy car to us unsuspecting Mercedes owners began. Firstly after several phone calls I was eventually directed to Europcar who informed me that in order to provide me with a courtesy car it would be necessary to get a taxi to Leicester some 90 mins away and there I would collect my courtesy Skoda. I declined. The next day I was promised an equivalent car as an AMG customer and a Skoda was duly delivered from Wakefield. My car was due to be in the garage being fixed for a week and as my car had only been back in my possession for a week having already been in the garage being fixed for 4.5 weeks they decided that I should be furnished with a Mercedes courtesy car. The next day Europcar came and took the Skoda away and a Mercedes CLS was delivered in its place, I was told by them it had a tyre pressure sensor ' fault' but I was told to ignore it as it was faulty!! I was concerned enough to take it round to the garage the next morning to get the tyre pressure checked to be sure it wasn't an issue and they told me that it looked like it may have lost some air but to bring it back the next day and they would recheck the amount of air so I could be certain and the return the CLS back to Europcar with a fault. I wasn't happy to be now dealing with another potentially faulty Mercedes on top of the inconvenience and my car still in the garage with fault. I was then told that my car was now fixed so I topped up the CLS with fuel and went straight to my Mercedes dealership where I got the service department to look around the Europcar courtesy car with me to confirm that there was no additional damage and I turned on the engine to show that the car was filled with fuel. Imagine my surprise when I received an invoice from Europcar for 15 litres of fuel for the courtesy car I returned full of fuel and that I have a Mercedes witness for. Imagine my surprise when they have not returned any of my deposit or answered my email and subsequent calls to the joke of a Europcar centre it was hired from. I called the Mercedes / Europcar liaison who has sent another email but apparently it takes days for them to answer. Perhaps you'd be so kind as to try and help me sort this mess out.
