  47. Nothing too special about it. I don't tutor it super often because of how threatening it is to just play a big threat in the same turn but the option is powerful and I am usually very happy to draw it.
  48.
  49. 1 Maelstrom Pulse
  50. With the 2 paths, making sure you have enough ways to kill creature that dodge Fatal push, Eldrazis and Tasigur mostly. Good against various planeswalkers (read mostly Liliana) in the various midrange MUs, out to Lingering Souls, helps against Rest in Peace, leyline of sanctity, empty the warrens. I've been quite impressed by the pulse.
  51.
  52. 1 Liliana the Last Hope
  53. Extra grind that is good against Lingering Souls which is not common.
  54.
  55. 1 Path to Exile
  56. Extra out to Eldrazi and Tasigur.
  57.
  58. 1 Golgari Charm
  59. That gives you a 2nd out to Leyline of Sanctity which is a big issue, even though it isn't very common.

  61. 1 Natural State

  63. 3 Stubborn Denial
  64. This is the slots that could be Fulminator Mage. Still not 100% confident on that one. See below the SB plans.
  65.
  66.
  67. 1 Yixlid Jailer
  68. Gives you a plan against Dredge instead of no plan. Also good against Storm. Bojuka Bog could be in that slot, not sure which one is better against dredge.
  69.
  70. 1 Gaddock Teeg
  71. Only theory so far but it seems to be so effective against so many combo decks. Main issue is the mana cost (GGW to get it) and how that doesn't work well with Stubborn Denial.
  72.
  73. 2 Stony Silence
  74.
  75. 1 Inquisition of Kozilek
  76. Trying to make up for the lack of Collective Brutality, there might be something better.
  77.
  78. 1 Phyrexian Unlife
  79. Only against Burn and Dredge. Trying to make up for the lack of Collective Brutality.

  83. +1 Ranger of Eos
  84. +1 Path to Exile
  85. +1 Liliana, the Last Hope
  86. +1 Maelstrom Pulse
  87. -4 Discard (depends on their exact list).
  88.
  89. Discard would still not be the worst but the MD is already great in those MU and I feel like your topdeck game is so much better with this configuration. In the mirror there is little reach and threats are so big that you'd rather keep Thoughtseize to make sure you have big DS. Against Abzan thoughtseize is better for similar reasons. They also board in heavier and I often see Siege Rhino and Gideon, Ally of Zendikar (which are both scary). Against specifically a not-too heavy classic Jund, inquisition can be better because they often keep Bolt so low life can be a problem and Raging Ravine attacks make your life total more volatile.
  90.
  91. You might want to cut on Liliana of the Veil and add Golgari Charm against Abzan with Souls and Hierarch.
  92.
  93. Bant Eldrazi
  94. +1 Path to Exile
  95. +1 Maelstrom Pulse
  96. +1 Ranger of Eos
  97. -3 Inquisition of Kozilek
  98.
  99. You can actually go longer thanks to Souls, they mean they can't just kill you once they can cast Drowner. Having no 2nd basic really hurts in this specific MU because of Path but I've found it to bee better to be conservative with your life total rather than the opposite here. I will fetch my shocklands tapped if I don't have a play and no Death's Shadow in hand.

  118. Very weird match up. If you don't go low enough on life, they can conflagrate your Death's Shadow, and if you go lower they can just conflagrate you. Game 1 is really bad because there is not much you can do about it. Best hope is to be able to discard their enablers and kill them before they recover.
  119.
  120. Post board, Vengeful Pharaoh is insanely good and pretty much unbeatable without hate. You can easily get in a standoff where you have a bunch of big dudes but can't attack because of Pharaoh and they can't attack you back. By default you will always loose these standoff to conflagrate but this is why you board in Stubborn Denial, Gaddock and Unlife and then you can wait to draw your Yixlid Jailer to be able to attack. Jailer is unfortunately weak to hardcast conflagrate but you have discard and Stubborn Denial to protect it so it should be fine. Liliana, the Last Hope, Pulse and Golgari Charm are good once you want to move to attacks to clear the way because they will have a bunch of Narcomoebas, Golgari Thug and the like laying around.
  121.
  122. If you expect many dredge you can have more GY hate because I am definitely not comfortable with the MU but I feel like this is the only MU where you would really want it (already have so much in the mirror) and I feel like this plan is coherent and give you a good shot while taking minimal dedicated sideboard space. Maybe you can replace the 4th Inquisition by a Surgical.
  123.
  124. Don't forget Yixlid Jailer stops you from flashbacking Lingering Souls.

  142. I'm boarding out some Mishra's Bauble because of Stony Silence but that might be wrong. Stubborn Denial is an great way to beat Leyline of Sanctity but maybe it is not needed if you have Gaddock.

  169. -4 Fatal Push
  170.
  171. Even if you can keep up with their card advantage, they can sometimes just cheese you out in the lategame with burn, Creeping Tar Pit and Cryptic Command so you don't want to too passive. They very rarely have an empty hand so the 8th discard could be good. Stubborn Denial is strong but risky since they have so many removals. I still feel like you want some to protect you against Ancestral Visions and their top decks. Fatal Push is really bad except it kills Creeping tar pit and that card is really threatening. You still have some answers but Fulminator would be nice here, as a Grey Ogre that gives you insurance against their manland.
  172.
  173. I can see cutting some Street Wraith because you rarely punk them out with an early DS and paying 2 in late game is quite bad. You can hardcast it but I am not usually comfortable going that late because of likely you are to get burned out.

  187. -1 Varolz
  188.
  189. Nothing too special here, hope you draw Stony Silence and they don't have Etched Champ. Being conservative with your life total is good here, they can cheap-shot you once you deal with their main threats and I often see players keeping a lot of Galvanic Blast. I usually feel like it is better to have a Death's Shadow die to a Galvanic Blast than it being too big to die, because then it is so easy for them to just deal you the last 4 in another way.

  198. -1 Path to Exile
  199. -2 Abrupt Decay
  200. -3 Fatal Push
  201.
  202. You might want to keep a Decay of the 4th Fatal Push because it can kill Khalni Heart Expedition and Chalice of the void and sometimes Explosives but I played against more Obstinate Baloth than those cards. It might be wrong though since Baloth is mediocre anyway and those other cards are much better. Fatal push is also better to push damage through a Sakura.

  214. -2 Thoughtseize
  215.
  216. I feel like you have enough ways to kill Master of Waves than you'd rather cut Thoughseize than Inquisition since you do not want to flood on discard. Spreading Seas is the card I am the most afraid of and I will generally take that with my discard. Remember that Natural State can kill it. You could bring in 1 Stony Silence against Vial and Relic but that seems mediocre and stops your Mishra's Bauble as well so I feel like it's wrong. I wouldn't mind a 2nd Natural State.

  229.
  230. This is the main reason why there is Phyrexian Unlife, I'd rather have the more flexible Collective Brutality but it is not compatible with Dredge. This is another MU where a 2nd basic would be nice between Path and the damage taken. On the gameplay, I feel like playing a slower game is better for you as long as you don't feel too far behind on board. Deflecting Palm is not bad but you have ways around it between discard, Liliana and just kill your own creature if needed.

  241. -1 Varolz
  242.
  243. Not too confident on that one. Denial seems good even if they have few targets because it's all their best cards by far (Company, Path and Chord). Liliana can be great on the play, mostly thanks to +1 that is relaly good against them so it might be worth having them here. Maybe Gaddock is good ?

  257. -1 Path to Exile
  258. -1 Inquisition of Kozilek
  259.
  260. This is the MU where you would love to have Fulminator Mage. Colonnade is a big issue when you are trying to grind them out and keeping removal in is pretty bad. Fulminator is a threat that can sit in play and insulate you from Colonnade which is great. I wouldn't expect too many of those so I am not to worried but I am confident you are quite a bit worse here. A one-of that you can tutor and sometimes recurr could be nice but it seems so mediocre elsewhere as just a one-of that I wouldn't bother.
  261.
  262.
  263.
  264.
  265.
  266.
  267. I was looking for some ways to lock up the game against combo decks after you discard their hand because of your slower clock, which is why I went toward Stubborn Denial. Gaddock Teeg might make those unnecessary because it covers basically all the combo decks and it also works poorly with Stubborn Denial mana wise (GGW to traverse for it). I feel like you can't really play basic Forest if you play Watery Grave but I felt like I wanted the forest sometimes, mostly against Burn and Bant Eldrazi. Lantto hates the forest though and wouldn't play it even if he weren't splashing. Fulminator Mage is fine but not missed a lot, the only MU where I think there is a big difference in favor of Fulminator is Colonnade decks but I wouldn't expect too many of those. My main concern with Stubborn Denial is the unstability of the mana and the lack of the 2nd basic.
  268.
  269. Other cards i'm considering are mainly 2nd Natural state, Bojuka Bog over Yixlid Jailer and maybe a Surgical (or 2 if you cut the Jailer but I feel like Jailer is better).
