Cult of Mercia sister of Morr’Sienne
-Mercia is the goddess of healing and mercy and the twin sister of More’Sienne the goddess of death.
- Temples are organized in an feudal manner with smaller shrines and temples owing loyalty all the way up to the larger shrine while all shrines and chapels owe fealty to the Matron at the chapel in the wilderlands ( a neutral territory)
- The cult refuses to involve itself in politics as it is time wasted that they could be providing aid
- Most priestess work as midwives or In orphanages raising children
- The cult is strictly ascetic
- Even the chapel in the wilderlands is wholly undecorated besides a few reliefs of Mercia or her sister
- Every chapel of Mercia also hosts a shrine to Morr’Sienne the twin goddesses closely involved in the process of birth and death
- Mercia’s symbol is a bleeding heart to represent her care for the problems of the world
-Priest’s robes take after this fashion and are of a sturdy, well-made white material that can be washed by boiling. Their only decoration being a red heart with a single white ‘drop’ shaped missing from it over the priest’s left breast.
