- A message from Rundum was sent to the capital of Averam, which soon scattered around the other cities and regions; the magic creatures previously sealed were returning. Not only that, but a stronger being was plotting to make their return, and his next gate was located somewhere in their continent. The warning was completely ignored, instead their concern was only towards the return of the monsters, as they were very aware of the consequences this was going to bring. Considering the past involving the five Crests and their vision of conquering every land, this was seen as a threat to their lands as the monsters certainly weren't going to just move out of their prison and forget about the past. And once more a call to arms happened, with the five Crests uniting for this next war, and for the territories that had no Crest to represent them, they refused to take part on a war that clearly was going to bring a negative outcome to them and risk losing their own territories, even the soldiers under the order of the Crests weren't sure what they were going against, or why they were going to fight them due to the lack of information related to the dark past each Crest carried. Soon the hunt for monsters began, with the Dullahans being the first to fall victim to the attacks, with so many still waking from their slumber and completely oblivious of what currently was happening, which only fueled the anger the survivors carried since they were banished. But differently of the first war, things took a different course; even with every monster belonging to a completely different type of culture, they made their own alliance with a simple objective; take the humans down, no matter what.
- With only a small number of people keeping the truth about the monsters, the generals simply weren't prepared to handle an enemy never seen before nor facing them working together. The first waves of attacks were more than enough to show just how much power the monsters carried, making it all too clear they had been preparing for that moment while imprisoned in the Oblivion dimension. Consequently territories were being taken over by the monsters in a pace that they weren't able to send reinforcements in time to prevent their advances, consequently troops were only being reserved and sent to the cities that were of interest for the Crests. This led to countless villages and cities being taken over, a problem that was slowly suffocating the Crests and their economy with so many roads and connections being interrupted with little chance of getting through. This unexpected alliance proved to be surprisingly effective both due to each race covering the others weakness along and their intense training, which forced the Five Crests into a corner-On one side they desired to keep this fight going in hopes of wearing their opponent down; on the other side the losses they had were already considerable, and on the pace the monsters were advancing towards the capital of each Crest put them in a very disadvantageous situation. After six more month of struggle, the kings representing each Crest raised their white flags and requested a truce with the monsters.
- While they were willing to cease the attack, the Crests were going to accept their terms of conditions; which resulted on them still losing a noticeable amount of cities and castles, all of them under lands that previously belonged to each race. The decision they had related to the current inhabitants varied, some were sent to the areas being led by the Crests and others were allowed to stay as long as they showed respect towards the monsters.
