WoW Companion update

Canon Companions (Tier 1) (100cp) – Tier 1 canon companions are the weaklings, they’re your average NPC with a name. They have minimum importance, such as the Auctioneer or one the many real world celebrity look a likes. Rule of thumb is if they can be replaced by another NPC without a problem, then this is the tier.

Canon Companions (Tier 2) (300cp) – Tier 2 canon companions are a major step above, these guys are the Varok Saurfang, Nathanos Blightcaller and the likes. They’re often seen in a lot of the lore and they’re moderately powerful figures. Rule of thumb is if the NPC can be recognized but isn’t one the big players, then they fall in this category.

Canon Companions (Tier 3) (500cp) –Tier 3 canon companions are the major players in the world. We’re talking the likes of Jaina Proudmoore, King Varian Wrynn, and Malfurion Stormrage. The only exceptions are the Titans, Sargeras, Elune, Dragon Aspects (however ex-Dragon Aspects are OK), any the Old Gods, Kil'jaeden (and the rest the big players in the Burning Legion). Rule of thumb is if the NPC is a raid boss level in WoW game, then they belong here.
