- The Second Coming Of Richard Nixon
- By the_9th_sign, 30/11/2016
- So today I saw a program advertised on CNN that I never thought I would see. Erin Burnett Out Front had a special segment on Alex Jones. I'm not surprised that it was Erin Burnett, though I never did expect it, but I was amused nonetheless. The last time CNN weighed in his opinion, on Piers Morgan Tonight (Remember that guy?), we wound up with further social divide at a critical time, and even a petition to remove Piers Morgan from the effective premises of the United States on Whitehouse dot gov (Because, you know, he's a Brit).
- I declined to make time to watch the actual program at 7. But I heard his name echoed on a different TV station later this evening, and it inspired me to write this post. Quite simply put, I don't like the situation Donald Trump is putting himself into. I think it's getting real Nixon real fast (Hence the satirical headline). He has surrounded his public presence with a great many contemporary issues, and his public stance behind these issues causes grief to many. The stance was designed to do that, quite similar to the concept of "Reflexivity". People gonna do s*** because so and so did other s***, and so on and so forth.
- My fear concerning these stances is the power to transform that they have. For most of you, Christmas is Christmas. Christmas, just like Thanksgiving, is generally a very transformative time for most, meeting with family and discussing things with one another (Isolating this demographic from the one that might not celebrate these holidays here). Sometimes, politics comes up with this demographic, and it can't be helped that people are going to rationalize the things they have heard, and keep hearing from those around them. The media made sure of it (Not to be sinister, surely they did it to sustain their enterprise). Identifying this concept is crucial to understanding the larger scope of what I mean to explain.
- I do research on the politics sphere through social media, news media, and social commentary. I have seen simple things affect the outcomes of people's decisions. Perfectly rational people have told me personally "Trump is the antichrist" or "Trump is an idiot", for no better reason other than they HEARD that. I know that subconsciously, it is just plain and simple easy for them to do. They can't actually help it. It's as natural as learning how the weather is going to be. My personal beef aside, I do my best to accept the lords will for them.
- At any rate, my research has proved that Thanksgiving was a critical time of reflection for many Americans. But now Christmas is coming, and new enemies are being effectively "lined up" before the new year. This, of course, brings us back to the Nixon argument. They impeached him, but what will happen with Donald Trumps alienation is a whopper. It's a new world. Hillary Clinton is the enemy and the right is now the loyalist demographic (Loyal to Trump). Hell, she even jumped in on Jill Steins recount thing.
- And these days, we have UN supported revolutions instead of impeachments. Unless by some miracle, the UN sees the position it will inevitably get itself in (Against the "arrogant Donald"), it is likely that the perception about the stability of America is positive only until the last threads of bipartisanship are severed. I foresee no reason the Security Council isn't going to laugh Donald out the door, that much is clear. The reaction to that, while having the chance to diverge from what is predictable, should be negatively perceived in America, and will continually stir the liberals. I anticipate this to happen long after Christmas, mind you, but it is one effect I anticipate that will agitate the global political sphere.
- All it really takes is a loose cannon to fire against Donald for his actions. Tony Blair did it in regards to the Iraq War (For half a good reason, at that), and there are plenty more worse than him, more willing and ready to. It is my belief that this is a sure thing, waiting to happen. But regardless of my personal intention, what will happen is a revolution. The fascist minority will this time rise from the left (As opposed to the right, like in Operation American Spring in 2014), and seek to repudiate Donald Trump.
- He'll just be writing up his enemies list, if nobody stops him, believe me. In reality, he wouldn't have to. The danger would be clear and present for anyone to see. What of "He's an idiot antichrist" now? Just another brick in the wall, as was once cleverly put. Tear that s*** down, and I think things will begin to normalize.
- In closing, I don't want people to think I am just throwing this out there. I eat my daily bread. I do the grind. This information can greatly aid those seeking to find solutions to coming problems. In truth, these problems are attached to the nature of the way we live and grow. It just happens that way. Keep it in consideration that what people do today will change the future.
