Why I'm making Third Person Discourager

I am a plugin developer. My role in this community is to create plugins.
I'm not hired by any servers. LegionPE is just a server I voluntarily developed plugins for, for free. Therefore, nobody can force me to make anything I don't want to make.

To avoid making plugins that are useless, most of my plugins start off from the request of an owner. Meanwhile I try to ensure my plugins cannot be used for unlawful activities, or things that violate "universal moral values".

What is meant by "universal moral values"? They are basically human rights. Right to live. Right of privacy. Freedom of speech. Freedom of conscience.
That's why I didn't make an auth plugin that has no password encryption/hashing at all - to do what I can to ensure privacy.
That's why I didn't make a plugin that ops can eavedrop /tell messages - to ensure privacy as well.

But anti-third-person is not a universal moral value. It is not even widely accepted within the community. And I do not agree rejection of third person myself, but some servers hate it and many players are against it. That is why I made it.

The main reason is the difficulty to detect third person. I respect every server admin setting server rules. I have no reason nor right nor ability to stop them. The only thing I can do is to minimize their negative impact. That is to avoid innocent players being accused of violating them while those who actually do so are not found. To keep everyone an unforgettable fun experience.

And hence ThirdPersonDiscourager.

P.S. ThirdPersonDiscourager is merely a theory. There isn't even a completed proof of theory. Don't put too much hope into it.
