JC Barger Custom Wood Furniture

JC Barger Custom Wood Furniture is a small, hands-on workshop where passionate builders and designers shape raw materials into pieces with soul. Every commission begins with a conversation about how you live and work, then moves into sketches, wood selection, and finishes tailored to your vision. We don’t chase trends or churn out flimsy factory copies; we craft heirloom-grade tables, cabinets, and custom office furniture that balance strength, function, and style without compromise.

Clients often think they must choose between durability and beauty, but our approach marries both—joinery that stands up to daily life, proportions that feel right in the room, and surfaces that invite touch. Finishes are custom blended and hand rubbed to achieve depth and character: think a rustic burnt orange that evokes desert dunes, a sky blue that brings a hint of whimsy to a workspace, or a forest-inspired tone that grounds a dining room in warmth. We obsess over grain direction, hardware choices, and tactile details so each piece feels considered from every angle.

Whether you’re furnishing a home, a restaurant, or an executive suite, we design to the demands of real use—easy-to-maintain tops, resilient edges, and configurations that make meetings flow, meals linger, and gatherings feel effortless. Our clients tell stories around their tables for years, and that longevity is no accident; it’s built into the blueprint. If you’re exploring options for distinctive, enduring work or living spaces, our team can guide you from concept to delivery with clear communication and thoughtful craftsmanship.
