- A sweet scent fills the air. How calming it seems, lulling you in a sense of false security.
- Your eyelids flutter open, the air is cool with a soft sense of moisture clinging to it, making your shirt stick uncomfortably to your back. Beneath you is a smooth, tiled floor, cold and slightly wet to the touch.
- You get up and look around you. The walls are covered in clinging roses, the roof full of hanging pots filled to the brim with roses. Everywhere you look there are more and more roses. Except for... ah. There's a door. Completely rose free. It's standing slightly ajar, letting a sliver of light in to the otherwise dim room.
- Upon opening it you exit into... a library? No, it's much too small. And libraries usually don't have bloodsplattered floor and garlands made from entrails and flowers hanging around the shelves. There is only one way to go, which is forward. Through the gruesomely decorated shelves on which copies upon copies of old, tattered books stand. However, the corridor of shelves only leads to a dead end. Quite literally in this case as a pile of gutted, rose filled corpses lie piled up at the end. On the wall above them, a message scrawled in blood. It still looks fresh, you think you can almost see it drip slightly. However the first half of it has been smudged horribly. But you can still make out some words.
- It reads:
- "[...] other [...] still smell as sweet?"
