A very good documentary created from George Steven's personal stash of 16mm color film made while in the special coverage unit in WW2. Amazingly, this film only has a small amount of overlap with the images from the material in The Lost Color Archives.

The difference between this and the aformentioned is that this material is strictly from the standpoint of one group of individuals on the American side... whereas the other doco's are a combination of color footage shot from the vantage point of all parties concerned-- Soviet, American, German, French, etc.

Often very moving and hardhitting, the piece is narrated by George Stevens Jr, and features quotations from not only his father but other members of his unit who filmed material alongside him and shared all the same experiences with him. The quality of the 16mm color is extremely striking, and almost entirely pristine.
