  1. Scene 1 - Mage's Tower
  2.
  3. A far-out shot of a large white mage's tower is shown in the distance; the camera slowly zooms in slightly. The camera changes to the inside of the tower inside a library. The library is fairly large and has numerous hallways of columns of spellbooks.
  4.
  5. [Camera cuts to various areas of the library before stopping at a child mage casting magic]
  6.
  7. A child mage dressed in a white magician's outfit is casting healing spells from tomes of restorative magic on a bouquet of wilted forget-me-not flowers. The child makes several attempts, and occasionally stops to open a pendant containing a picture of him and his mother. He stares at the picture sorrowfully, and is determined to resume his attempts at restoration magic to revive the plant.
  8.
  9. [Side-view of elder wizard] An elderly wizard is reading a large dusty tome of magic in his section of the library, and eventually notices the child mage. [Camera returns to child mage] The child mage is frustrated and fails his attempt to revive the flowers once again. The elder wizard approaches suddenly and places his hand on the child's shoulder and shakes his head sadly.
  10.
  11. Scene 2 - Forbidden Magic
  12.
  13. The elder wizard then proceeds to leave the library. The child mage is depressed momentarily, but then decides to sneak into and search the elder wizard's area of the library. The child mage eventually comes across a shining tome of magic containing forbidden white necromantic spells. Upon peering into the tome, the child comes across a "resurrection" spell named "Angel's Requiem". The child then hurries to his room with the stolen tome, and reads further into it, eventually coming across the ingredients of the spell.
  14.
  15. The ingredients of the spell include various magical and non-magical items, although not all of the requirements of the spell are shown by the camera. The spell is also described as "a chance for a final farewell". The child quickly gathers the ingredients from various containers in his room. He finds that he is missing one ingredient, an angel's feather, and departs in order to find one.
  16.
  17. Scene 3 - Forbidden Library
  18.
  19. The child mage arrives at the forbidden section of the tower's library. Unlike the normal library, this library is entwined with various beautiful plants as nature merged with the bookshelves. The library is also somewhat dark but illuminated by the various magical plants.
  20. The child looks around as he walks through the mysterious area, and eventually comes across a storage area for magical materials. He enters and stumbles upon an angel's feather behind a glass dome, but upon retrieving the feather, the child is spotted by hostile magical creatures which begin to chase the child throughout the library.
  21. The child is pursued for some time but eventually escapes the library.
  22.
  23. Scene 4 - White Necromancy
  24.
  25. Having obtained the necessary ingredients, the child rushes to the top of the tower, where his mother's grave lies. The top of the tower has a giant blue crystal floating at its peak, and a garden at the roof floor containing his mother's grave. His mother's hat rests on the center of her tomb. The child peers into his pendant one last time, containing a picture of his mother wearing that same hat.
  26.
  27. The child lays out his acquired materials and is about to begin casting the spell before the elder wizard bursts in in an attempt to stop the child. The elder is somewhat flustered, and picks up the book. The elder opens to the casting requirements, and points to a section which states that the spell requires "years of life force each few seconds the spell lasts". The child nods sadly, and takes the book back anyway. The elder is somewhat shocked, and reaches out one last time, but feels like he cannot convince the child and steps back.
  28.
  29. The child mage begins casting the spell, causing giant angelic wings of light to erupt from around the stone coffin of his mother, and the area fills up with a gentle white light. The child's hands start trembling and he kneels to the ground. The child's hair begins to whiten as life force is slowly drained from him. Life from the plants in the surrounding area is drained and they begin to wither and crystallize.
  30.
  31. Scene 5 - Revival
  32.
  33. In a flash of light, his mother is restored as if she woke up from a deep sleep. She smiles widely at her child briefly, but quickly realizes the full extent of the situation, and attempts to close the spellbook to interrupt the spell. The child gets in her way with a sad expression, desiring closure regardless of the spell's cost.
  34.
  35. The mother briefly kneels down to her child and smiles sadly. The child's hair whitens even further. His hands begin to tremble and become more pale, but his mother gently grabs both of his hands, and shakes her head sadly at him, not allowing her child to sacrifice himself. He looks down sadly, and she hugs him, and he hugs her back. She looks at him one last time and smiles. She walks up to the tome of Angel's Requiem, and closes it. As she does so, she begins to fade away, and she waves goodbye to her child, and he sadly waves back while smiling. The fades away completely.
  36.
  37. As the spell is completely dispersed, the flowers in the surrounding area come back to life, and the tree hanging over the mother's stone coffin blooms into glowing blue flowers. Some colour is also restored to the child's hair, and his hands stop trembling as violently. The child wipes away his tears and smiles, as the camera slowly flies out away from a front view of his face. The flowers in the surrounding area continue to keep blooming for a beautiful sight as a result of the spell's side-effects. The scene fades to white as the wizard slowly walks to the child and places his hand on his shoulder again.
