Afterword(it's honestly more of a quick explanation)

It's been one year since my last Zexal II book, and now I've finally pushed out one feature both him and Nasch...
Yuma's personality in this one was actually pretty close to how he was in the actual show. Chronologically speaking,
think of this is as taking place after the final battle with Nasch.

In the show, after Nasch disappeared, Astral used the Numerion Code to give everyone a happy ending.
However, this what-if scenario basically talks about how Yuma would have saved Shark without using the Numerion Code.
Even if Tetsu-kun and the rest were to come back, Kaito still wouldn't have been alive in this scenario.
I wanted to draw Zexal II in a more "glorious" manner, since he was going to be the representative of two worlds,
but I felt like people would then just tell me I should have just drawn III. So I basically just continued with the same
concept I had last time with Zexal II simply being thirsty for more Chaos. Nasch was simply the most convenient source
at the time. I'm sure Shark had some kind of grudge over Zexal II sucking all of it out of him back when he was still
in his human form too. Basically I just wanted some kind of excuse to draw Zexal II again.
The premise of this story is that Yuma, Astral, and Shark had to remain in that realm to prevent the worlds from crashing together.
Trapped in that realm, the premise was much like the forbidden garden Eden with Adam and Eve. I wonder which one of them bit the apple...?

Nasch and Zexal II having a child? There's no way that could happen.

In the show, I really liked how Shark was the leader of the Barian World and how he wanted to fight to protect his world to the very end,
out of respect and duty, but I personally wanted him to be the kind of romanticist that wanted to simply do what he could to preserve the life he's used to without looking forward to the future for what's objectively better. Honestly, doesn't he seem like the type of guy
that would sacrifice anything for the sake of that? I can easily imagine a smile rising on his face as he faces imminent destruction.
My idea was that while he would initially act for the sake for the future, his vision in that respect would cloud up and grow darker and darker.
But Yuma wouldn't accept that, and constantly do whatever he can to save Shark, actions that would only end up causing Shark suffering,
and they would just fall into a cycle of hurting each other again and again. How wonderful, right?

I hope you were impressed with Nasch's double penis. I really wanted to bring out that alien nature. Did you know that sharks have two peni? I had to bring that design choice to Nasch too.
I know there might be some people that might say that Barians don't have sex organs, but unless the Zexal staff explicitly says so,
they actually might! Maybe it's something that's normally concealed inside! You could think of it like Schrodinger's dick...
So basically I just did whatever I wanted with it. I believe in him having a sex organ, so for those who don't, please close this book right now.

I had no idea I would make a sequel like this, and now I'm honestly thinking that I could even possibly push out a third one.
Even this book went through a lot of different stages in planning with me dropping it for almost half a year too, so it might be quite
some time before an actual third entry releases... (I initially planned for this to release in the summer convention...)
By the way, I was also thinking of making Zexal II eventually devouring Nasch in a cannibalistic fashion, which would probably make the book
even more niche. To be fair, I never considered how many people would be reading this in the first place anyway when I write these.
