  1. Alright, so we got an issue with pastebinned logs going up in smoke. I noticed this awhile ago, but didn't really act on it until TehPillowStar, who went through and read all the logs, reminded me of it. This is kind of a big deal for keeping logs, as they might go poof at any moment. We could be losing some really cool logs right now. So, I think we need to localize them. There are a couple ways I think we could do this
  2.
  3. 1. We could go and make them all collapsibles. This is probably the least good way to go, as collapsing them would likely make the pages reach the 250,000 character limit quickly.
  4.
  5. 2. We host each log on its own page. Still not a great solution as it'll create a helluva lot of pages to manage/keep track of, but it means the logs last as long as the wiki does.
  6.
  7. 3. Create a subwiki for logs, like what AA does. This means we'd have to migrate all the log stuff we have now off-site, and if the sub-wiki goes down we lose 'em.
  8.
  9. I personally think we'll probably roll with some variant of option 2 or 3. I think I'll probably start preliminaries for this project this month, then get more into it once summer vacation starts. Please let me know what your thoughts are and whether or not you want to pitch in. I'll probably recruit some of the members to try and get logs localized, with TehPillowStar already having volunteered.
