- Tsaaq: ((Wb.))
- Covet: [THanks!]
- Covet: -Cadence was sitting on the couch tieing her shoe laces, while fighting with Soot to leave them alone while she double knotted them. Sitting up she pulled the hair tie off her wrist and pulled her hair back into a messy bun. She seemed antsy and restless.-
- Tsaaq: Remy came into the apartment with a worrisome expression but attempted to conceal it as he shut the door behind him, locking it. "Hey babe." He tried to say casually before making his way towards Cadence, kissing her cheek before he went to pull off his sneakers.
- Covet: -She looked at Remy as he came into the house- Hey you. Welcome home. -She said to him, giving him a kiss back as he came in.- I was just about to send you a message to see if you wanted to go workout or something... I don't know I kind of feel...pent up. -She looked him over, sensing something was a little off, but couldn't pin point it.-
- Tsaaq: "Pent up about what?" He asked as he went to sit down, glancing at her with a raise of his eyebrow. "I just came from the mental hospital and shit. So I'm kinda beat... I don't know." Remy shrugged.
- Covet: I don't know... -She said with a shrug.- I just feel anxious, I guess. -Cadence said watching him sit down, then frowned- Oh.... Was it not such a pleasant visit? -she asked him then sat down next to him, wrapping her arms around him.-
- Tsaaq: Remy furrowed his eyebrows. "It was fine." He shrugged his own shoulders once more. "I saw the girl that Hayley lives with now, we hung out in her room and shit-" He started to say. "Why do you feel anxious?"
- Covet: -Cadence didn't answer him for a minute then cleared her throat- Uh...just didn't do that great of a job distracting myself so I wouldn't lapse into thinking about shit. I'm kind of pissed nothing's been done about this... because of how Hayley is now...and just how bad that situation was. -She mumbled a second and was quiet again, before she looked at him- But I want to hear about your visit with Hayley... Is she stressed out living with this new chick?
- Tsaaq: He licked his lips a moment while th estared at her. "I guess... Nobody cares about what happened because they have other shit to think about but, Hayley's doesn't get that luxury cause she's had to deal with tramautic shit since she's got here..." He muttered. He looked as if he didn't want talk about it but inhaled deeply, preparing to speak. "I don't know if you remember this chick, she's been there for mad long. Her name is Carrie, I never got to interact with her cause of my treatment and shit. But I definitely heard shit about her. You might have interacted with her once or twice but that's who Hay lives with now."
- Covet: Yeah... I know.. Portland has been shit for her....and so many. But we're still here... -she said softly under her breath then looked over at Remy- Hayley's living with Crazy Carrie? Holy shit.... that's... I don't even know what to say to that. I had her in group a couple times, but she never said much, But you know how that place is. I heard a bunch of shit. -Cadence said leaning into Remy-
- Tsaaq: "Yeah... I heard that bitch has been in and out of mental facilities for like, fucking, a billion years." Remy scoffed. "I just-" He stammered. "She like..." Remy trailed off, putting his face in his hands. "She just so clearly doesn't want to live with her. Hayley is really trying to get better and I don't know for sure, but I pretty sure Carrie is bullying her, or triggering her. Some shit, cause before I left she asked if there was anyway she could just live alone. But that's the shit of it. She can't live alone even if we paid money for that. She's a suicide risk, it's completely out of the question and after her last roommate offed herself over the holidays they are REALLY cracking down on that place."
- Covet: Yeah. Do you want me to go down there and get in their faces again? See if we can get her switched around again? I mean... I get them cracking down, I do but, they shouldn't be ignoring Hayley's complaints. -Cadence ran her hands down her face and sighed- This place is a fucking migraine. Fuck! I swear it'd just be easier to comit ourselves just to make sure they were doing their fucking jobs. How sad is that? -Cadence said, bouncing her leg-
- Tsaaq: Remy went to scoot closer to Cadence, putting his hand around her shoulders. "Hey, we can see. Right now she's not complaining to them that's the problem. It feels a lot more like she's trying hold shit in but that's not a good idea when trying to recover. I don't know what to do really that's why I wasn't gonna say shit." Remy sighed before rubbing her shoulders. "Don't go crazy over this it's not gonna help." He whispered.
- Covet: Sorry... -She said biting her lip holding her breath for a long moment before she exhaled.- She needs to say something to them. I know the talking part is hard... but once she lets go of that... it gets so much easier...-she frowned then looked at him- You weren't going to tell me?
- Tsaaq: "I don't know! I was gonna say something eventually." Remy said with a small shrug. "I just know that we've been having issues with the place when it comes to her treatment and I just didn't want to stress you or anything. I don't know..." Remy trailed off. "I don't want you to be stressed before our trip."
- Covet: -She bit the inside of her cheek and nodded- Yeah... I guess, I can't be too upset... I've neglected to tell you shit before too. -she said taking a breath then let it go- Rem, when it comes to this... I don't want you to not tell me what's going on. I know...I get.. worked up about stuff. But you just need to remind me to keep my cool... not keep it from me. We need to get this figured out before the trip....For Hayley's sake...and our sake... otherwise I'm going to worry about it the whole time we're there.
- Tsaaq: Remy inhaled deeply and nodded his head. "We'll figure it out before the week is out." He said gently. "I know I should talk about shit. I'm sorry. I don't know why I was even avoiding it. That was obviously not a good idea. I guess I don't want to give off how worried I actually am about it." He shrugged.
- Covet: Okay, thank you. -She said to him- I'm in this with you one hundred percent. So what worries, you is going to worry me too. I know it's not easy having to deal with this, but for what it's worth you're doing a fantastic job at being there for her right now. More than my brother's ever been for me when I was going through my shit. -She told him then wrapped back around him- You have been nothing but awesome through all of this.
- Tsaaq: "I don't know... I feel bad." Remy said quietly. "All this time I wasn't looking out for her and where has that gotten here? Three suicide attempts and god knows how many mental breakdowns." He sighed. "I don't want to be lackidasical about her anymore. So now... I'm trying to make up for it I guess."
- Covet: It makes sense. Just don't beat yourself up about it too much. You had your own stuff going on too. And you are making up for that, but she's an adult, so this isn't for you to take it all on your shoulders by yourself. I'm here to help as much as I can... you and Hayley are more or less family at this point. We'll get trhough this...good and bad. Kay? -she said to him-
- Covet: through*
- Tsaaq: Remy shook his head. "She's barely an adult. She only just became an adult legally last year. And you know I can't sit here and act like she was mature cause she wasn't. She was basically forced to grow up because of everything that's happened. And that's definitely my fault." Remy said, frowning as he spoke quietly. "And honestly? That's the opposite of what I wanted for her. So when I think about it... I just feel so horrible." He rambled before taking her hand. "I know. I'm hoping shit is gonna get better before it gets worse. I really am."
- Covet: Babe... You and I both know if you could have been more involved and strict with Hayley, but she wouldn't have listened anyways. That's just how she is. That's how you and I were too. Nobody could tell us what to do. We had to figure shit out for ourselves the hard way. And that's not on anyone but ourselves. You and I have figured that out, and Hayley will too. That aside... There are sick people that take advantage of people like us... they want to cut that down and break our spirits with a variety of means... drugs, taking away our self control. -she swallowed hard- It sucks... but it's nothing we can change. It happened. All we can do is learn from it and not make the same mistakes. -she squeezed his hand back and bit the inside of her cheek hard- We'll fight our hardest to make sure that happens Kay?
- Covet: *Hayley, she wouldn't have
- Tsaaq: He furrowed her eyebrows. "Strict? Why would I have been strict with her? Of course that wouldn't have helped. But that also sort of implies that she chose to be fucked up..." Remy said with a skeptical look. "I'm saying if I was actually looking out for her she probably wouldn't have to deal with any of the shit she's had to and she could've actually enjoyed her youth." He said with a stern expression. "There's no justification, there's not explaination. It's just me. I fucked up. And I'm not scared to say it or admit it. Everything that happened to me was my own fault. I could blame it on my mental disorder but honestly that's still not really an excuse. What happened with her was not her fault at all. That's the difference between her treatment and mine. She's not recovering from some shit she did. It's the shit that happened to her..." Remy sighed as he stood up. "Yeah... That sounds fine." He muttered.
- Covet: I'm not trying to make any justifications. Sorry... I don't really know what to say to make this better. I'm not trying to impy that she chose to fuck up, or any of us.... for that matter. -she frowned and balled up her fists.- It's still not something that's your fault. It's some fucking scoiopath, psychopath...whatever... that's fucked everything up for her...and a bunch of people. Who fucking got away with it. -She said the last part mostly under her breath.-
- Tsaaq: "It's okay... It doesn't matter a lot of people are at fault and I feel like I am too. We can always hope other people won't do horrible stuff. But they do. And I know people do fucked up shit around here. That's all my point was." Remy trailed off. "I mean, that's how the world works I guess. People suffer and other people don't get any punishment for their actions." He muttered as he shrugged.
- Covet: It sucks. -Cadence said softly, then kicked her shoes off, looking up at him- Can we just go cuddle in bed and not think about this shit until tomorrow?
- Tsaaq: He shrugged as he went to take off his coat. "Yeah, I guess. I'm just exhausted." He whispered as he went towards the bedroom, undressing more.
- Covet: I know. This shit is draining. I'll rub your back for you...-she offered, pulling her pants off intending to sleep in just her t-shirt for the night.-
- Tsaaq: He sighed and went to pull off the rest of his clothes until he was just in her underwear then pulled her into bed with him. "It's fine. Let's just sleep." He muttered as he closed his eyes.
