Ultimate League Championship FIVE :-

WINNER - 450 bucks . The winning league will be inducted into the ULC League's Hall of Fame and of course bragging rights.

The Largest side server league event is back with its fifth season. This may be the most confusing as leagues are scattered across different servers. However people would be well into gen 7 trying to figure out types, sets, evs, teams, leagues etc. Brand new pokemon, the return of old veterans, this looks to be an exciting tour.

[Registration] :- To register for ULC , a league needs to have an operating league room for minimum 2 months. For a league to register , they must fill the registration form.  For the registration form PM Sam Crowe or look near to the end of this letter

[Squad] :- To compete,  every league must submit a squad consisting of  minimum 8 players and maximum 15 players  and 2 managers. Note managers can only play the LvLs if they are included in the 15 member squad as well. The managers are in charge of handling the squad and negotiating schedule for the LvLs . The managers play a very important role,  so it is very important that they remain active through out the tournament.

[Details] :- The total number of leagues that join ,  will be divided in to 2 groups. The leagues will battle each other once in the group stage and the top 4 leagues from both groups will then qualify to the illusive play offs (elimination stage) . NB This is dependent on the amount of leagues that participates.


[LvL Details] :- The LvLs will be a standard 5v5 played in the ULC room. The leagues will be allowed to finish their group stage games over a whole week. For example :- one week to finish round 1. Once they finish their designated game for week 1 , to speed up things they can complete their LvLs from week 2 , 3 etc. This is optional and only valid if both sides agree to do it. The Schedule of the LvLs  must be negotiated by the managers and a suitable time has to be chosen to finish the game. The time confirmed must be informed to the ULC committee and the LvL must take place under the supervision of an ULC Staff.  The LvLs must be done in the presence of a ULC staff or it wont be counted as official and would then have to be redone.


[MULTI LEAGUE CLAUSE] :-

ONE PERSON CANNOT BE INCLUDED IN THE SQUAD FOR 2 LEAGUES. THEY CAN ONLY COMPETE FOR ONE LEAGUE. A LEAGUE CAN ONLY INCLUDE MEMBERS FROM THEIR OWN LEAGUE IN THE ULC SQUAD. IF ANY LEAGUES ARE FOUND GUILTY, THEY WILL FACE POINT SANCTION AND IN EXTREME CASES DISQUALIFICATION.


[THE SQUAD CLAUSE ] :-  THE SQUAD ONCE SUBMITTED IS FINAL. ONLY MEMBERS WHO HAVENT PLAYED A GAME (LVL) CAN BE SUBSTITUTED FROM THE  SQUAD. A MEMBER WHO HAS ALREADY PLAYED A MATCH CANNOT BE REPLACED UNLESS THAT MEMBER LEAVES THAT LEAGUE OR DOESNT  LOG INTO  POKEMONSHOWDOWN FOR ATLEAST 3 WEEKS. ONCE A MEMBER IS REPLACED , THAT MEMBER CANT BE RE INCLUDED IN THE SQUAD. ALSO A MEMBER WHO HAS ALREADY PLAYED A GAME AND LEAVES THE LEAGUE , CANNOT JOIN THE SQUAD FOR ANY OTHER LEAGUE DURING THE EVENT . SO IT WILL BE  WISE NOT TO LEAVE THE LEAGUE DURING THIS MASSIVE EVENT


[ALTS CLAUSE] :- EACH PLAYER IS ALLOWED TO REGISTER UP TO 2 ALTS WHICH SHOULD BE SUBMITTED WHEN THE FINAL SQUAD LIST IS SUBMITTED. IF YOU SUBMIT ONLY ONE ALT, YOU WILL BE FORCED TO USE ONE ALT THROUGHOUT THE TOUR. PLAYERS WILL BATTLE IN ALTS RECOGNIZABLE BY OPPONENTS AND ULC COMMITEE MEMBERS. EXAMPLE IF YOU ARE REGISTERED AS ISANDMAN AND SANDY,THOSE WILL BE THE RECOGNIZABLE ALTS.


[LVL RULES ]:-

1) SCOUTING AND TEAM CHANGING IS 'ALLOWED'

2) FOR EVERY LVL , LEAGUES WILL BE ALLOWED 1 SUBSTITUTION FROM THE 5 MEMBER LINEUP

3) IF THE ULC COMMITTEE MEMBERS FOUND LEAGUE MEMBERS GUILTY FOR HARASSMENT AND ABUSE , THEY CAN BAN THAT MEMBER FOR 1 OR 2 WEEKS OF ACTION DEPENDING ON THE SEVERITY

4) THE LvLs MUST BE DONE IN THE PRESENCE OF AN ULC STAFF MEMBER

5) THE DQ TIMER IS 10 MINS. AFTER A MATCHUP HAS BEEN DECIDED USING !PICK  , THEN THE PLAYERS WILL HAVE A MAXIMUM OF 10 MINS TO START THEIR GAME . IF ONE OF THE PLAYERS DOESNT MAKE IT ON TIME , THAT PLAYER WILL AUTO LOSE. HOW EVER LEAGUES CAN SUB OUT THAT PLAYER. (ONLY 1 SUB PER GAME) ONCE THE PLAYER IS SUBBED OUT , THAT PLAYER CANT BE SUBBED IN AGAIN. ALSO AFTER THE SUBSTITUTION , A RE !PICK HAS TO BE DONE FROM BOTH SIDES.

6) WEEK1 OPPONENTS IS A MUST. YOU MUST PLAY YOUR WEEK 1 OPPONENT BEFORE PLAYING ANY OTHER OPPONENT. ALL MATCHES PLAYED B4 PLAYING WEEK 1 MATCH WILL BE RULED AS NULL AND VOID. PLAYING YOUR WEEK 1 MATCH, YOU ARE FREE TO PLAY WHOEVER WHENEVER.

[REPLAY ]:- THE MANAGER OF THE WINNING LEAGUE MUST SAVE THE REPLAY OF EACH OF THE WINS AND SUBMIT IT. IF A REPLAY IS NOT SUBMITTED THE MATCH WILL HAVE TO BE REDONE

[M.V.P ]- AFTER THE GROUP STAGE IS DONE , ALL THE LEAGUES FROM BOTH GROUPS CAN NOMINATE ONE  MEMBER FROM THEIR LEAGUE FOR MVP . AFTER THAT A PUBLIC VOTING WILL BE HELD AND WINNER WILL BE DECLARED MVP .

FOR MVP OF THE TOURNAMENT , ALL THE 8 LEAGUES THAT QUALIFIED FOR THE PLAY OFFS CAN NOMINATE ONE MEMBER  FROM THEIR SQUAD FOR MVP . A PUBLIC VOTING WILL BE HELD AND WINNER SHALL BE DECLARED MVP OF THE TOURNAMENT.

[Team of the tournament ] :- After the Ulc season is done , the ulc committee members will select the best team of the tournament including the top 5 players through out the tournament. It will be recognized as the ULC ALL STARS SQUAD .


ALL THE LEAGUES MUST COMPLETE THE BATTLES WITHIN THE GIVEN LENGTH OF TIME. THE MANAGERS MUST NEGOTIATE WITH ONE ANOTHER FOR A SUITABLE TIME. IF A LEAGUE IS NOT DOING THEIR BATTLE , YOU CAN COMPLAIN AGAINST THEM TO THE COMMITTEE MEMBERS. REPLAYS MUST BE SAVED. NOTE AGAIN THAT THE MANAGERS PLAY A VERY IMPORTANT ROLE THROUGHOUT THE TOURNAMENT.
