  11. Erelye: [**The screen displays a question, four images, and a text box. "*What came first, culturally speaking?*"**]
  12. Erelye: [**Option one is an arrangement of four diamonds into a square. The bottom pink, the right blue, the left yellow, and the top white. Option two displays another arrangement of diamonds exactly the same, save for the right being green, and the left blue. Option three displays yet another arrangement of diamonds with the same properties as the second, though with the top gray. The final option appears to be four interlocking triangles of various shades, all entrapped in a larger gray diamond.**]
  13. Nomble: What shades?

  57. Erelye: [**You run the file.**]
  58. Erelye: [**The computer's screen flashes with a plethora of predetermined coordinate points, and then states, "*Injectors activated.*"**]
  59. crystalcat: Erelye, just confirming, the countdown is until September 26, correct?
  60. Nomble: >transp.agl
  61. Erelye: ((Yes.))
  62. crystalcat: Thank.
  63. crystalcat: I have marked my calendar.
  64. Erelye: [**You run transp.agl. The metal door right before Cyan and yourself slides open.**]

  66. Yung Venuz: i assume Seal closes the door, then.

  74. Erelye: [**To where, o coward?**]
  75. Nomble: The door?
  76. Erelye: [**Entry, or exit.**]
  77. Yung Venuz: Exit.
  78. Nomble: The one that just opened.
  79. Yung Venuz: ^
  80. Erelye: [**You plunge deeper into the depths of the mines.**]
  81. Erelye: [**The next room appears to be some sort of study, perhaps. There are a number of objects upon an oaken desk in a corner, directly next to a stone door with a hand symbol upon it. In the opposite corner, there is a hulking machine filled with the same pure black substance you saw in the ÆCHOR canister.**]
  82. Nomble: I attempt to edit seal.agl to find out what it does.
  83. Pope Cipurr: holy fuck the torizo is hard to kill on hardmode
  84. Erelye: [**"*You do not have permission to complete this command!*"**]
  85. Nomble: Only execute perms? Weird, but sure. Examine desk.
  86. Erelye: [**Upon the desk are precisely four objects. Some ceramic pot of some sort, a small packet with a few Rodarbi characters on it you don't recognize, a sealed metal box, and a sort of lantern-appearing device.**]
  87. Nomble: Take picture.
  88. Erelye: [**You do so. The picture that prints out has no text on it, save for an ellipsis.**]
  89. Nomble: hmm
  90. Nomble: Open packet.
  91. Erelye: [**You examine it beforehand, and open it up.**]
  92. Erelye: [**Cosmorod Pack: A packet of Abenicci-brand cosmorods from your local Aesthetia. Cosmorods, of course, are miniature disposable flammable cedarglass tubes of magetear, designed precisely for inhalation and exhalation. Magetear medication can either have a calming or psychedelic effect on the body of the user. **]
  93. Nomble: Oh look drugs.
  94. Nomble: What's in the pot?
  95. Erelye: [**Eldersalt Pot: A sealed ceramic pot of a tan hue filled with pure eldersalt. The stuff seems to vanish when applied to stone. It would be perfect for hiding messages.**]
  96. Nomble: Light up the lantern thing.
  97. Erelye: [**You activate the crystal lantern device. It reveals a series of incomprehensible nonsense and digits inscribed all over the walls of the room in some sort of orange-tinted salt.**]
  98. Nomble: Take picture of it.
  99. Erelye: [**You do so. The picture prints out, and some blurred figure appears to be standing in the finished product, entirely made out of magetear ink.**]
  100. Nomble: Take a picture of the figure.
  101. Erelye: [**You take a picture of the picture. Cyan looks at you like you might be going a little too far with the picture-taking. There is no change in the picture of the picture whatsoever.**]
  102. Nomble: Examine the box.
  103. Erelye: [**Sealed Box: A small rectangular metal box, locked by an unknown mechanism. There are three dull purple pentagons on the front face.**]
  104. Erelye: [**You've seen these pentagon symbols before.**]
  105. Nomble: Where have I seen them?
  106. Bill Cipher: sorry, but. where are we right now?
  107. Nomble: Some kind of study.
  108. Erelye: [**If you recall correctly, the Venator placed some Sanguine Keystones into these sorts of pentagons to open a door.**]
  109. Erelye: [**You are in the Kappa Sector, in a study beneath the ÆCHOR mines.**]
  110. Nomble: Examine machine.
  111. Erelye: [**You examine the device, not particularly understanding it. Cyan observes it with her pseudo-engineer's eyes as well, in awe. There are a number of pipes and tubes pumping the black substance about, all directly into the ground.**]
  112. Pope Cipurr: >check inventory for keystones
  113. Erelye: [**You have three.**]
  114. Pope Cipurr: >slot keystones into box
  115. Nomble: Oh.
  116. Erelye: [**You open the box. The keystones pop out of the thing as it opens up. The thing appears to contain blueprints for some sort of levitating drone wielding an inbuilt camera. The thing is written in a mixture of candlelight-colored ink, and maroon.**]
  117. Nomble: Shine lantern on it.
  118. Pope Cipurr: >recollect keystones, take items
  119. Erelye: [**You recollect the keystones, and take the items, shining the light of the lantern on the blueprints. Eldersalt marks on the paper indicate a full list of required supplies to construct the drone.**]
  120. Nomble: What supplies are we missing?
  121. Erelye: [**Recalling the piles of junk in the ship, you believe the only thing you lack is a single plate of tenebrite. Funnily enough, the ÆCHOR canisters are composed of the stuff.**]
  122. Nomble: Go back to where there were the canisters.
  123. Erelye: [**You have one.**]
  124. Nomble: Eh. It'll also give a chance to see what exploded.
  125. Erelye: [**Heading back, you walk over to the stairs. Looking up at a lack of light, Cyan makes a quip. "Well, now we know what exploded."**]
  126. Yung Venuz: rip
  127. Nomble: Use lantern to light the way.
  128. Yung Venuz: in hindsight running "seal" in a mine sounded like a bad idea
  129. Nomble: Oh.
  130. Nomble: Right.
  131. Erelye: [**The top of the staircase has caved in. You are trapped in the mines.**]
  132. Nomble: Smash canister on rocks, carefully.
  133. Erelye: [**Are you sure you want to do this?**]
  134. Yung Venuz: how do you carefully smash?
  135. Nomble: hmm
  136. Nomble: Attempt to extract a plate of tenebrite, first.
  137. Erelye: !roll 1 5
  138. Erelye: [**You and Cyan manage to pry off a plate on the top with your collective strength, despite the fact that it is nailed into place.**]
  139. Yung Venuz: yey
  140. Yung Venuz: inb4 we roll a 0 on our defense roll later
  141. Nomble: Test what happens if I pour a tiny amount on a rock.
  142. Erelye: [**The ÆCHOR hasn't yet been exposed to air. There is another internal covering of tenebrite.**]
  143. Nomble: Is there any air on the inside of the container?
  144. Erelye: [**Not that you can see.**]
  145. Erelye: [**The thing appears to be sealed airtight.**]
  146. Nomble: Well.
  147. Yung Venuz: The solution is bovios and not at all risky
  148. Yung Venuz: >MORE EXTRACT MORE TENEBRITE
  149. Nomble: Wait a second.
  150. Erelye: [**Are you sure you want to do that?**]
  151. Nomble: Put container in the corner of the laptop room.
  152. Erelye: [**You do so.**]
  153. Nomble: Blow it up.
  154. Erelye: [**How?**]
  155. Nomble: Don't we have some kind of cannon?
  156. Erelye: [**Cyan does.**]
  157. Nomble: Cyan>Create Exploding Barrel.
  158. Erelye: [**Cyan shoots the canister.**]
  159. Nomble: Whoops, forgot to go to other corner.
  160. Erelye: [**It immediately erupts into flames, the black liquid spilling out and seeming to separate into various compounds upon contact with the air.**]
  161. Yung Venuz: >Examine compounds from distance
  162. Nomble: Can we identify any compounds?
  163. Erelye: [**Nothing specific. It all appears to be a red and black seared stain on the ground.**]
  164. Nomble: Can we collect any more tenebrite without touching it?
  165. Yung Venuz: Won't the plates be damaged reducing their usablity?
  166. Erelye: [**You're lucky enough to have not been struck through the gem by shrapnel. The stuff has mostly been damaged to the point of uselessness.**]
  167. Yung Venuz: realism yey
  168. Nomble: Take picture of machine.
  169. Erelye: [**You take a photo of the machine. Whatever text it prints out is obscured by the black fluid in the device matching its hue.**]
  170. Yung Venuz: >Examine black fluid
  171. Nomble: Attempt to arrange another photo so the words aren't obscured.
  172. Erelye: [**Every face of the machine has a sizable porthole filled with ÆCHOR. There is no way you can do so.**]
  173. Nomble: Put a tenabrite plate in the way, then.
  174. Erelye: [**Tenebrite is also black.**]
  175. Nomble: Put the laptop in the way.
  176. Erelye: [**The photo you print out reads "*You put too much effort in for this picture, kid!*"**]
  177. Pope Cipurr: pf
  178. Nomble: shut up malpike
  179. Erelye: [**What now?**]
  180. Nomble: Open door.
  181. Erelye: [**You unseal the door. The room beyond is small, metallic, and featureless, save for a square corotite pad in the center, bearing a Rodarbi universal entry square in its own center.**]
  182. Nomble: Step on the pad.
  183. Erelye: [**The two of you board the elevator. Would you like to descend?**]
  184. Nomble: Yes.
  185. Erelye: [**You traverse deeper into the abyss.**]
  186. Erelye: [**The pad settles into a tunnel that appears to have been carven out of what appears to be *plasma gunfire and grenade blasts*. Obliterated gem shards and slain *crystallomechanicum* droids litter the floor.**]
  187. Nomble: Is there a throne nearby?
  188. Erelye: [**No.**]
  189. Nomble: Salvage droids.
  190. Erelye: [**There's too much to stick in your gem. You aren't exactly a pearl, after all.**]
  191. Nomble: What about just things that seem useful.
  192. Erelye: [**You grab as many gem shards as you can for your mass-burial.**]
  193. Erelye: [**What now?**]
  194. Nomble: Continue along tunnel.
  195. Erelye: [**You continue down the tunnel, eventually reaching an absolutely massive cavern. The side of the thing appears to gape out into the blackness of the void beyond. This must have been some sort of hangar. Figures seem to be moving around a cuboid structure of pure black stone on the far end of the cavern.**]
  196. Nomble: Take picture.
  197. Erelye: [**You take a picture.**]
  198. Erelye: [**You only have twenty-one photos left on the roll of film you have. The text says, "*What were once people are now horrors, thoughts reduced to instincts. Hilarious.*"**]
  199. Nomble: Well, then.
  200. Nomble: Attempt to find out what the figures are from afar.
  201. Erelye: [**They're *vaguely* humanoid, with some sort of charred flesh.**]
  202. Nomble: Inspect stone.
  203. Erelye: [**It's almost featureless. The only thing of note is a door with blinking navy lights upon its front.**]
  204. Nomble: Attempt to sneak through the door.
  205. Erelye: !roll 1 4
  206. Nomble: rip us
  207. Erelye: [**You take a single step toward the box, and the two figures standing out by it notice you. They promptly lunge a good twenty meters, missing you by inches. Do you wish to engage in combat?**]
  208. Nomble: What would happen if I didn't wish to engage in combat?
  209. Erelye: [**You would probably be mauled to death.**]
  210. Nomble: Well then, engage away.
  211. Erelye: **ASSAULT / UTILIZE / DEFEND / ABSCOND / COALESCE / OBSERVE**
  212. Nomble: OBSERVE
  213. Erelye: [**Ur-Demon: 17/17 HP x2.
  214. NOTES: The subsumed and twisted form of one of the soldiers who succumbed to the Grayholdian bombing of the Kappa Sector in the war. One would do best to show these gems mercy. They know no better.**]
  215. Nomble: Restrain them with water.
  216. Erelye: !roll 1 3
  217. Erelye: [**And Cyan?**]
  218. Nomble: Cyan opens the door.
  219. Erelye: [**She can't. You can. Upon further examination, the door is marked with a hand symbol containing four navy hashes, occasionally blinking.**]
  220. Bomber57: It has been too long since I have stepped foot in this room. Let me uh, go get some food first.
  221. Erelye: [**Not during combat, of course. But you can.**]
  222. Nomble: What's out inventory?
  223. Erelye: http://pastebin.com/sXngWA1X
  224. Pope Cipurr: >contemplate whether cyan could temporarily paralyse them.
  225. Pope Cipurr: i'm assuming not honestly
  226. Erelye: [**She's got electrokinetic abilities. It *might* be possible, but it would be a bit of a stretch.**]
  227. Nomble: Cyan>Do it.
  228. Pope Cipurr: mh, fair enough
  229. Erelye: !roll 1 5
  230. Yung Venuz: inb4 0 on next defenseive roll
  231. Erelye: [**You restrain both beasts, and Cyan immediately synergizes with you, paralyzing both instantly with electricity. She seems surprised at the success of her action.**]
  232. Erelye: ((That was only going to work if you got a five, hah. Holy shit.))
  233. Nomble: >Escape while attempting to keep them restrained.
  234. Erelye: [*You're not a coward. Fight.*]
  235. Erelye: **ENEMY TURN.**
  236. Erelye: [**The Ur-Demons are both paralyzed.**]

  240. Nomble: I was attempting to show MERCY.
  241. Yung Venuz: >OBSERVE
  242. Pope Cipurr: >disarm them in a quite literal fashion
  243. Yung Venuz: ^
  244. Pope Cipurr: after observing of course
  245. Erelye: [**Mercy in death for corrupted gems. Don't you know how this works?**]
  246. Yung Venuz: ^
  247. Erelye: [**Ur-Demon: 13/17 HP x2. Restrained, paralyzed.

  250. Yung Venuz: This isn't undertale.
  251. Nomble: meh
  252. Erelye: [**It isn't as if they actually *die*. You just poof them.**]
  253. Yung Venuz: ^
  254. Yung Venuz: They only die if you destroy their gem.
  255. Yung Venuz: I think that is how it works.
  256. Pope Cipurr: >attempt to sharpen your wings into a blade
  257. Erelye: !coin
  258. Erelye: [**You sadly fail to make wingblades.**]
  259. Yung Venuz: Bit spotty on the SU lore, considering i only watched up to episode 9 and got all my info from AO
  260. Nomble: I'm pretty sure they live on, fragmented into shards of themselves waiting to recombine, living hell.
  261. Yung Venuz: RIP
  262. Pope Cipurr: damn
  263. Nomble: Cyan>Plasma their gems off.
  264. Yung Venuz: So, are we gonna go with the observe and disarm plan?
  265. Yung Venuz: Yeah.
  266. Yung Venuz: Lets go with disarm and plasma.
  267. Erelye: !roll 2 4
  268. Nomble: Without knocking away the restaints, if possible.
  269. Erelye: [**You immediately disarm both Ur-Demons, in the literal sense. Some sort of pus sprays onto the ground. Cyan's plasma shot slightly fizzles out as it strikes them, but is otherwise effective.**]
  270. Erelye: **ENEMY TURN.**

  288. Erelye: !roll 1 3

  303. Nomble: hmm
  304. Nomble: Where are their gems?
  305. Erelye: [**First one is on the chest, second is right shoulder.**]
  306. Yung Venuz: Cyan: Plasma. Their necks and gems. Now. Azure: Remove the other's shoulder with a sword of water, and then impale the other in the chest with a spear of water.
  307. Nomble: "aruze"
  308. Yung Venuz: hhahahahahahahh
  309. Yung Venuz: Haha, what?

  313. Yung Venuz: I mean, what?

  315. Erelye: !roll 2 4
  316. Yung Venuz: Phew?
  317. Erelye: [**You both come out it, alive. The two gems lie in the center of a new crater. The door of the cube awaits.**]
  318. Nomble: Bubble them.
  319. Erelye: [**You send both back to the ship.**]
  320. Erelye: [**What now?**]
  321. Yung Venuz: >Examine door. Again.

  323. Nomble: Open door?
  324. Erelye: [**The door opens.**]
  325. Erelye: [**Within, the cubic room is extremely sparse. There is another door of the exact same type across from you, bearing five hashes. There is also, however, a diamond of some unrecognizable metal in the very middle of the floor, with a latch upon it. Stylistic designs in glowing navy are present around the edges of the thing.**]
  326. Nomble: Open latch?
  327. Erelye: [**You twist the latch, and pull it upwards, a hiss echoing throughout the room.**]
  328. Bill Cipher: ((Very very sorry I haven't been playing))
  329. Bill Cipher: ((I've been busy doing things outside of the computer))
  330. Nomble: Oh, it's this thing.

  495. Bill Cipher: alright, we have the potential to finish this now.
  496. Bill Cipher: Hm. The Limb Destabilizer Cannon is also an interface analogue.
  497. Bill Cipher: Should we use it to pinpoint a weak spot?
  498. Pope Cipurr: i mean azure coulda died
  499. Pope Cipurr: nah
  500. Pope Cipurr: what's cyan's weapon again

  535. Bill Cipher: Head through the opened door.
  536. Erelye: [**You enter the door, Cyan on your heels. The room beyond is an absolute disaster. Every inch of the place has been scorched black by some sort of bomb, save for a newly-arrived elevator pad. Five *crystallomechanicum* drones lie inert on the ground, all around a single object.**]

  546. Nomble: You said that a third person would be murdered.
  547. Erelye: [**Exactly. And how many people would that leave unpoofed?**]
  548. Nomble: you monster

  550. Nomble: Take more aechor canisters.

  554. Nomble: Zero.

  563. Nomble: Blow up the rest of them as the ship is leaving and at a safe distance.
  564. Erelye: [**You take a single canister, and place it on the ship, after tying it down. You leave the rest in the mines, as they can't hurt you, and are a valuable nonrenewable natural resource.**]

  566. Bill Cipher: Yes.

  568. Nomble: Also, plug laptop into ship computer.
  569. Erelye: [**You plot a course, plug the laptop into the secondary ship computer, and set the engines up another setting. You'll have to pass through Psi again to get to Iota. ETA: forty-five minutes. Would you like to save and continue?**]
  570. Bill Cipher: Save, yes. Continue, not sure.
  571. Nomble: ^
  572. Erelye: [**You will get a doubling of translation credits this session for continuing. There's plenty of time left in the day. Game saved, however.**]

  578. I don't think I'm going to be continuing if we do, I've had enough AO for today.
  579. Bill Cipher: And I'm going to be leaving soonish.
  580. Erelye: [**Game quit. You have but sixteen days to go three more sectors. *Try not to let the momentum buckle.***]
