- In the skies above the burning complex, a massive space saucer waited in geostationary orbit, its scanners recording every moment of the battle below. It recorded the Dalek units moving through the buildings, the robotic life signs of the Mechonoids—winking out one by one—and the exact points of fire and explosions, detonation and death. The information would be analyzed and any useful conclusions fed back into the Dalek battle computers for future campaigns.
- The Dalek Commander could have stayed on the saucer, plugged directly into the Military Computer and absorbing every tiny piece of data as it came in.
