  1. Cold.
  2.
  3. All would feel a chill run down their spine as something was so blatantly amiss.
  4.
  5. The soil of Gehenna would begin to grow dark, plants being wilted as a mass of darkness would begin to congest in the midst of this square.
  6.
  7. Slow.
  8.
  9. What came first was that of a hand, pushed upwards from these grounds as yet another pulse of pure occultism had threatened to shake the very foundation of these streets.
  10.
  11. Darkness.
  12.
  13. That which continued to build and force itself upwards, a single hand being built and added upon as slowly but surely the shape of a human would manifest before the eyes of all.
  14.
  15. And with it?
  16.
  17. Came a calming smile - That which held only sinister intent beneath the surface.
  18.
  19. For now there came not a word. This figure cloaked in darkness observing - Staring briefly for a moment upon all which had gathered.
  20. [Narrate]
  21.
  22. This came about as unexpected surprise, but the presence of Occult wasn't anything unusual to him- there were Demons and even Accursed, and the countless Spires expeditions made him grow accustomed to the ever lingering sensation of dread that comes with Occult. Besides.. when you deal with the spirits as a whole, you also happen to deal with Nethradin eventually.
  23.
  24. And these bear similar taint as well.
  25.
  26. Though, with the shape of a human appearing, and with that much Occultism lingering, he couldn't help but assume that this is yet another Archon - possibly, someone who broke away from the islands.
  27.
  28. "..Who are you? What do you want?"
  29.
  30. It's foolish to attack just about anyone, and yet, Keitaro couldn't help but feel that the intent was anything but peaceful. Even if he asks this question first, inevitably his hand was preparing to draw upon the staff.
  31.
  32. You never know what can happen in scenarios like these.
  33. (Keitaro)
  34.
  35. Humans.
  36.
  37. While appearance may be one thing - Such a figure loomed over each of those present in both power and stature. Unnatural in size as if hand built to stand far above those which looked upon this cold and dark presence.
  38.
  39. "Rejoice."
  40.
  41. The voice which followed hadn't matched such a imposing presence in the slightest. One hand moving with a sense of grace, motioning towards each which had stood beneath this occultic presence.
  42.
  43. "These lands. Agartha has chosen I to handle you humans whilst you no longer claw and tear at one another like the animals we know you to be."
  44.
  45. That hand moving outwards, as Elyon had demanded explanation what followed was a cold sensation upon his body. The feeling of his heart, being pulled upon as if a invisible hand was threatening to crush those gentle beats at any moment.
  46.
  47. "Humans so sinful, so arrogant... We spirits who look upon these lands have deemed you unworthy of all it's beauty. You are still, by the good graces of me may pick and choose your own fate..."
  48.
  49. There had come a pause.
  50.
  51. "Death. Slaughter by my hands - Or you may leave these lands and never return. Kindness which you are undeserving of, yet has been offered to you all nevertheless."
  52. [Narrate]
  53.
  54. Whether this one was Nethradin or has been horribly corrupt to incite violence like this, the spiritmancer could not tell- what he can tell, however, is that his own wishes clearly contradict what the rest of people actually wanted here. After all, the conflict was finally coming to an end.. and there's no way any of them would just quit like that.
  55.
  56. "The war for Agartha is already over."
  57.
  58. "That senseless bloodshed you refer to is gone, and Agartha is healing as a whole. You have no place here, spirit, and you have no place to command with such demand."
  59.
  60. "Begone."
  61.
  62. It is spoken in a firm voice, but spiritmancer offers no mana of his own. He's more than certain this spirit isn't looking to move on or to get relief from whatever role they fulfil, and attempting to force one in spiritual catharsis would be futile. Instead..
  63.
  64. "It seems we'll have to attack it at once."
  65.
  66. "Sometimes trouble does find you, I guess.."
  67.
  68. To some extent, he was glad. To remain here in silence like this.. it was dull. Instead, the arcs of lightning crossed the Shenlong, charging, preparing to strike with the rest- he had no doubt that things are about to become heated.
  69. (Keitaro)
  70.
  71. Painful.
  72.
  73. Only a sigh could push past the slender lips of this creation.
  74.
  75. "Your sinful arrogance knows no bounds, it would seem."
  76.
  77. Death spilled across these lands and darkness sought to reclaim that which had been birthed of brilliant light. The very existence of those present feeling all too heavy as no more preaching need exchanged.
  78.
  79. "Though. You all do excite me, you make me wonder as to what power humans can truly possess for themselves. You claim you would all fight for this false veil of peace, though even now I can sense your desires for bloodshed."
  80.
  81. No holding back, that dark presence once more slamming forcefully against each which had stood before him. Cold and lifeless, much like an empty vessel that their very existence was attempting to reach back out towards.
  82.
  83. "Just as you would any rabid animal? You will be put down by the hands of those which have long since stood above you."
  84. [Narrate]
  85.
  86. Cold.
  87.
  88. These lands would run cold as blows and powerful exchanges against one such enemy that had stood before all. These streets filled with endless strikes all aiming to knock this creature which had stood before them down.
  89.
  90. "Animals."
  91.
  92. This voice would roar as blows would seem to pass right through this monster at times. Some colliding against allies as desperation had all begun to grow, those which had stood in opposition finding themselves being knocked aside.
  93.
  94. By both this being as well as their own allies.
  95.
  96. "Rabid humans."
  97.
  98. That voice would ring clear once more, occultism and the cosmic stars above all bending to this beings whim. Slamming down from the skies above as these grounds found themselves covered in a sickly cosmic taint.
  99.
  100. "Need only put down!"
  101.
  102. His voice would roar, blows from each direction seeking to make him stagger. All each aiming to cast aside this monstrous spirit which stood before all, yet even his power hadn't proved enough.
  103.
  104. In the end, it was a Siren which had managed to rush through these openings.
  105.
  106. Aiming to deliver that final blow which would sever this spirit and it's tether from this land.
  107.
  108. Once and for all.
  109.
  110. Sima, of course, in the midst of this all was bodied by Keitaro's lightning.
  111. [Narrate]
  112.
  113. In the end, the spirit was banished.
  114.
  115. Through combined effort that they all invested in order to make sure that the corrupted spirit does not make it through, they were able to defeat it- despite all the powerful waves of energy that struck against them all, the group was able to prevail.
  116.
  117. But it does not come without any cost at all.
  118.
  119. Where each and every piece of spiritual essence was severed from this world, torn apart one by one so it would disappear at last, more and more of their own were put under immense pressure, so much so that people were beginning to get injured- and even worse, Keitaro's own lightning accidently misfired against Sima, no doubt a result of volatile storms that he was capable of summoning.
  120.
  121. "Shit!"
  122.
  123. The Shenlong was quick to retract the source of his lightning, all to make sure that Sima doesn't sustain any injuries that would be deemed far too serious. And while he certainly felt guilty for it, all he could really do is..
  124.
  125. "Sorry, Sima!"
  126.
  127. His attention diverted back to the spiritual taint, only to see it finished at this point. It's a good thing that it was dispensed so quickly.. because otherwise, it could inflict a lot more severe damage. A sigh of relief follows, and the Shaman speaks out.
  128.
  129. "..At least it's gone."
  130. (Keitaro)
