Breath of the Wild Speedrunning Short FAQ

My attempts are currently being executed on a Wii U digital Pal 1.1.1 copy of the game using the German language.
	- the Wii U digital version has the fastest loading times of any version of the game
	- German is the language with the fastest voice acting, saving 13 seconds over the English version

Are you an using Amiibo?
Yes, Amiibo save time by allowing me to spawn Epona and by spawning fish to create a +3 mighty elixir.

Why is Link whistling sometimes?
If you attempt to whistle and press B to sprint at the same time, Link gains temporary speed in the sprinting animation before slowing down again without using any stamina. By repeatedly pressing the B button while whistling, we can obtain near sprinting speed without actually using any stamina, effectively allowing us to sprint infinitely. It isn't quite as fast as normal sprinting though; the ideal movement sprints until Link's stamina is nearly depleted and then whistle sprints while stamina recharges.
