This film had lots of laughs and relatively reminded me of the zero to hero films that Shinobu Yaguchi usually direct or at least known for. I only found out later that it's the same director of the JDrama I'm currently also translating, Kakegurui (in which the actors of Kei and Furusawa are also starring). Also read that it's the screenwriter of Solanin and Sakamichi no Apollon, in which I also love.

The constant arguing Yukina and Sakaba gave me a headache, especially when they talked about food. I wasn't sure at many of the food names they were shouting, so kindly point them out if I got those wrong haha Not to mention there are quite a lot of Japanese onomatopoeia which don't exist in English haha

It's really very cool that there are lots of Japanese pop cultural references present in the film. As I don't like to put notes here and there in the subtitles themselves, I just translate those lines liberally so that I can get the point across to viewers those references even though they're not that familiar with those material.
