“More seriously though, it’d help to know more about the mastermind behind these outbreaks, whether motorcycle chick is working alone or in a group. It’s easy to play damage control, but once we go public, our culprit will know we’re after them and is gonna clean up their trail. So we have an opportunity to help out a bit more now.” She shrugs. “It’s not in the job description at all and is going to drive the legal department at the university nuts, but we can afford to indulge the old man just a bit. What? You didn’t seriously sign up for this job without thinking the prof might ask you to do something crazy like this, right? Just put up with it this once. I’ll buy you cookies.”
