Q: What are you playing on?
A: I'm playing on Virtual Console for the Wii, using a Wiimote as my controller.

Q: Why do you keep jumping?
A: The fastest way to get speed in this game is to roll down a hill. There always isn't a hill nearby, but the second fastest method is to roll and then jump, as you accelerate in the air after rolling at the same rate as going down a hill. So maximising air time + hill time is critical in this game.

Q: Your timer isn't going! Hang on...what is that timer?
A: This is the in game time function of Livesplit. I just input the time I get for each level as I go.

Q: Why does this game use ingame time and not real time?

Q: What is Best Ending?
A: Best ending refers to getting the better ending in the game. To do this, you must get all the Chaos Emeralds, which are scattered around the levels (no special stages) as you play through. It then gives you access to the real final zone, Crystal Egg, and upon beating that zone you get the Best Ending.

Q: What is your goal time?
A: Sub 13. But based on how I was playing a few days ago when we did a Classic Sonic Relay, probably should aim for sub 12:50 (I would've got a 12:52 in a race then but I died to the final boss, lol)

Q: Are there glitches in this game?
A: Yes, but very few, and none useful for speedrunning.

Q: Is this game good?
A: No, it's fantastic. Highly recommend playing + super chill speedrun
