Hypothesis: The soap pump works by pulling up soap from the bottle by using a pump it goes through the tube and out the head.


How it works: the pump acts like a suction cup that draws out the soap from the bottle into your hand when you press down in the pump head there is a piston that moves and compresses the spring and air pressure draws the marble upwards when you release on the pump head the spring returns the piston and pump head to the upright position


Improvement: the best way to improve the pump bottle is to add a spring to the pump head and pump assembly to make the head popping up more smooth. Without the spring the pump head gets stuck without the rebound mechanism is too inefficient. The spring below the head pump would make priming the soap bottle a lot more efficient.
