  1. The Trystle caverns were filled with lively Yokai kindred-- Here, the Giga could bring his pack to fruition! No longer was he undermined by his previous Pack Alpha, but an Alpha of his own collaborating mass!
  2. A union of Yokai, schooled by the feet of a thirteen foot tall monstrosity.
  3. Hardly over two dozen of them swarmed about, cawing and murmuring in its presence.
  4.
  5. Thralls? No, this was something different. Xerves worked cooperatively with his fellow kindred to some extent, though kept a keen eye for those unlike his kindred. Attention had been shifted, but not by the sight of another he had yet to realize. It was the cries of fellow Yokai kindred that beckoned the Gigai's attention to a foreign lesser Yokai.
  6.
  7. Xerves glared upon it, hungry, willing to dive for him from the looks of it; Though, he did not bother to summon the drooves of lessers and Megai to his aid, or to his substitute-- He prefered to face it alone, speaking through a public telepathic channel for all kindred of all stages to hear out.
  8.
  9. "My fellow kindred... From the babies of Trystle, to fellow Gigai and others alike." He called out, "Our places of refuge dwindle as the flithy HUMANS dive us further into corners. They hunt us, constantly drive us to extinction in some regions!" He cried, "They target our numbers and attempt to eradicate them with the use of their destructive magic! They pray to the gods of Kraus and Azreal, and force us t turn on one another for their own advancement." He continued, amassing a small crowd to his volition.
  10.
  11. "No more! Xerves is tired of it! Tired of the games! Tired of the hunts! Tired of the expedition! We are -NOT- human fodder! We shall NOT settle down to forgive them for their retched ways! We are NOT on par with human trash! Many strong Yokai have stood tall and died, for standing humans.
  12.
  13. We, will fight back! No longer will they kill us on sight upon venturing to their lands, but pray to our feet! I can see a world where we stand on top! A world without human owners! We Yokai are not pets, we are not practice for their warrior's blades! We are superior, and such will be proven!" The Gigai broguht rise to his right arm, attempting to rally his pack of surprisingly unthralled Yokai.
  14. Though, such wasn't entirely likely for a lesser whom skulked about, eying him with hopes of reducing him to a meal.
  15. (Xerves)
  16.
  17. With muscles pulled taut and the little menace ready to pounce, the giga's sudden telepathy caused Morax to freeze. It stared upwards, its growling reduced to a low gutteral murmur as it glowered with large, solid white eyes. Whatever the giga spoke, it was understood- but... it was meant to be a meal?
  18.
  19. Morax was confused, its claws testing the gravel beneath them as they opened and closed. Humans- it understood humans. It understood them and what they had done to their kind, it understood they were bad, understood they were nothing more than food...
  20.
  21. To be a pet to such a thing was a despicable thought. It raised slowly, forearms lifting off the ground to hang limpily in front of it. The lesser was small, but its ability to stand on its hindlegs made it much less so.
  22.
  23. It motioned with an awkward set of claws towards one of the lessers, particulary at one of the stragglers. Food was what it craved, and to be quite honest, there was no shame in getting a free meal. If it meant growth, then so be it. Any grain of dignity left in the poor beast had been diminished prior to the current encounter, but that... that was a story for another time.
  24.
  25. Morax skulked forward two steps at a time, stopping only to motion at yet another straggler. It wanted to make a deal, it seemed.
  26. (Morax)
  27.
  28. Yokai kindred, of Xerves' pack especially responded with cacophonous chatter; The collective roars filled that of caverns, leaving the Gigai nothing less than appeased-- Though, there had to be more. Somehow, someway, he had to expand his dominion to truly grasp at his goal. He wanted to see a world where he could revolutionize the territories of Valmasia; A world where he was truly not restricted to wander as he pleased.
  29.
  30. Discrimination was the core of his hatred, and with the violent expansion of the Inquisition, he had all the fuel he needed to spark rebellion. One, not of human kind, but a unique one hampered for decades, even centuries now... A Yokai rebellion. A chance for the Yokai to strike back!
  31.
  32. "To cannibalize, was our way for so long... And how has it repaid us?" He questioned rhetorically, "It has allowed humans to take advantage of our self-destruction! They forward their charges to drive us further and further to eradication." A hand swatted up for the north, pointed for the exit of the Trystle caverns.
  33.
  34. "Out there, is a vast open world of hunters, or oppressors... Or vile scum. Let us feast, not on ourselves and brothers... But those of the filthy, repugnant figures that consider themselves of great warriors and pure men, women and children. They all plagued with the same disease, that is Sin
  35. The Sin I speak of, is not a mere product of their antics, no... It is their drive to purge what isn't their own. Their defiant drive to rule, indecisive of whom to reign under. Their violence is without true reason, aside from personal desire-- They do not know what they wish for...
  36.
  37. They are an ignorant race... A race that shall be corrected as dreamed by the many before us!" He proclaimed, "Now! Let us hunt! Let us venture north, and round up those whom once sought out our demise! Let us, force them to suffer..."
  38. (Xerves)
  39.
  40. Hunt.
  41.
  42. The sound of the word caught its attention, but even still it didn't move. It just haunched lower, its white bulging eyes growing larger until they seemed close to popping right out of the sockets. It wanted to hunt, it wanted food-- it wanted flesh. Human, yokai, it didn't matter to the growing hellspawn any, but the thoughts of humans...
  43.
  44. It growled low, shaking its head back and forth at the thought of the crude, ginger haired lady from before. How dare she whip Morax like a misbehaved child! It didn't deserve such treatment, such ridicule, such heresy! Spittle frothed around the corner of its mouth as it began to growl again, yellowed fangs gleaming.
  45.
  46. If the yokai before it wished to offer it a place at its side to hunt, then who was it to judge? Food either came with effort or none at all, and with that opportunity set before it, it was eager to take the latter. It tasted the same no matter how it was earned, and all the same it only helped to further the creature's growth.
  47.
  48. It crouched again on all fours, lurking forward to get itself closer to Xerxes. The offer to hunt was accepted, though Azrael forbid it lead poor Morax no where good.
  49. (Morax)
