“Master...?” Pomegranate peeked into the room that Enchantress was situated in, almost hesitant to come in.
“Yeah, what do you need Pom-Pom?” Enchantress asked, not looking up from the ‘show’ she was watching on her crystal ball. For once she wasn’t snacking on anything, but the empty bowl on the table next to her suggested that she had been.
“A gift for you, master,” Pomegranate said, presenting the package with a bow. She got out of there quickly, embarrassment and nerves getting to her.
Enchantress raised an eyebrow and glanced at the gift. The tore open the wrapping paper like a child on Christmas morning, a grin coming to her face when she saw what it was.
It was a nerf gun with a card. The card simply said ‘Happy Mother’s Day!’
Finally, somebody who knew how to buy gifts! Enchantress couldn’t wait to use it on the grandkids!
