Powers:
* Create Knowledge Devourers. If a human eats the fruit from his tree, they take 0-Harm and become unstable, feeling ill and upon reaching 6 harm, transform into a Knowledge Devourer.
* Lull. Upon hearing its whispers people must succeed in an Act Under Pressure roll or feel an unnatural state of calm some over them.
Attacks:
* Bite. 2-Harm intimate/hand venomous. Anyone bitten by the Serpent is immediately considered Unstable.
* Constrict. 2-Harm intimate ignore armor
* Tail Lash. 3-Harm hand/close

* A blade coated in the ashes of a bramble bush.
* A person whose mind is totally overcome by meditation or prayer.

Attacks:
* Lurch. 0-Harm intimate/hand/close grapple. When hit by a Lurch, the hunter must roll +Tough, on a 10+ they are no longer grappled, on a 7-9 they shake free partially and take a -1 ongoing to moves that involve physically moving, on a 6 or below the Keeper may make a Hard Move against the Hunter.
* Skull Bite. 3-Harm hand.
* Wail. 1-Harm area close.

Weakness: They are effectively normal humans with an allergic reaction to bramble

Hyper masculine police chief who refuses to let the Hunters in to the property.
Judy Leclaire

A 22 year old journalism student from Bivalve U who is tagging along with Officer Livingston to report on the murders after the second incident. She tends to get a little too deep into things.
Heather Kenny
Type: Witness
Told her husband if he did yoga he would feel a lot better. Inconsolable due to the loss of her children.
Zeke Felman
Type: Witness
Big fan of blackberry tea. Knows that Bruce used to be a big fan of his tea, but when he invited him in on the day of the murders he recoiled at the tea and immediately left. Also knows the family well and tells a bit about their dynamic.

Locations:
Crime Scene
Type: Fortress
The area surrounding the Kenny’s residence as well as any subsequent crime scenes. Officers will attempt to bar the Hunters’ entry.
The Kenny’s Residence
Type: Deathtrap
The Knowledge Devourers gather inside the master bedroom (2F) at night and huddle. A soft whispering can be heard from beneath the headboard. The Devourers will not attack if left unprovoked, however moving the headboard will rouse them if the person doing so is not in a trance.
Hidden Garden
Type: Den
Reached by passing through a portal beneath the headboard. Home of the Tree of Knowledge and the Serpent. Where it leads people in order to turn them into Devourers.
