gushing_granny: the setting is a dark room

gushing_granny: it has a few lights inside of it

gushing_granny: if you could see the interior of the room, you would notice it looked very futuristic

gushing_granny: very sleek, minimalistic design

gushing_granny: the ceiling was vaulted, and near the top was a small window with a dim light shining through it

gushing_granny: in the middle of the room, a man wearing very tattered, broken armor stood there, restrained by a small machine

gushing_granny: "......"

gushing_granny: "now, you are going to tell us where they are."

gushing_granny: "ive already told you."

gushing_granny: "....i dont know what you're talking about"

gushing_granny: "thats not what you said to your little friend, who just so happened to be affiliated with the bellatorian intelligence corps., isnt it?"

gushing_granny: "I SAID, I DONT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT"

gushing_granny: the man thrashes about violently, a blazing white aura surrounding him, but the machine constricts his arms, causing him to yelp in pain and fall to the floor"

gushing_granny: the dimly lit face that could be seen in the window smirks

gushing_granny: "*sigh* poor jack, you are one of our finest warriors. it would be a shame for us to have to put an old friend down."

gushing_granny: jack looks up at the window with a furious look on his face "I AM NOT FRIENDS WITH YOU MONSTERS"

gushing_granny: the machine constricts jacks arms and legs even tighter, a small *snap* could be heard, echoing across the small room

gushing_granny: the man in the dimly lit window ignores jacks words, but looks visibly annoyed

gushing_granny: "dont be so insolent, child."

gushing_granny: he begins to scream

gushing_granny: "NOW, YOU WILL DIVULGE THE LOCATION OF THE ANIMA, AND THE BOY WHO HAS COME IN CONTACT WITH THE VOID STONE NOW!!!!"

gushing_granny: jacks expression changes to a calm, determined fury

gushing_granny: "over my dead body."

gushing_granny: "....."

gushing_granny: "very well then."

gushing_granny: the man in the window sighs, then presses a button on a panel within the office behind the window, he shakes his head

gushing_granny: "i know you warrior types."

gushing_granny: "so brave, so headstrong, always determined."

gushing_granny: a small door leading into the futuristic room opens

gushing_granny: the ground begins to shake as something begins to enter the room

gushing_granny: "but trust me, after a little bit of....persuasion, you will talk."

gushing_granny: "n-n-no...." jack says weakly

gushing_granny: a large robotic arm extends into the room

gushing_granny: "oh, but yes, my dear jack."

gushing_granny: the robotic arm is suddenly covered in a bright mass of golden energy

gushing_granny: jacks eyes go bloodshot at its brightness

gushing_granny: cut back to the the world where the orcs live

gushing_granny: a few hours have passed

gushing_granny: dan rolls over on the cold hard rocky ground, coughing up blood

gushing_granny: he looks up at the sky "how.....how far did i fall?"

gushing_granny: he coughs up more blood

gushing_granny: dan holds his hand in front of his face, he notices his vision is extremely blurry

gushing_granny: "i....i have to find nini"

gushing_granny: dan falls limp to the ground, heaving and coughing up more blood

gushing_granny: "owww.....what...is that"

gushing_granny: dans went deaf for a while, but as his hearing returned, he heard a high pitched screeching

gushing_granny: "wait....that sound...."

gushing_granny: he reaches in his pocket, and pulls out a small, black stone, it seems to be melting slowly

gushing_granny: "why......why is it doing that?"

gushing_granny: the melted stone begins latching itself to dans skin, it feels warm

gushing_granny: "i.....i have to find help"

gushing_granny: dan slowing gets on his knees, coughing up a bit more blood as he does so

gushing_granny: he slowly begins crawling, he can barely move his body, let alone across this rocky landscape

gushing_granny: he tries to breathe, but each breath feels like sharp spikes being forced down his throat ".......i.....*cough* have....to..."

gushing_granny: he barely makes it a few meters before falling over again

gushing_granny: "no...." the black stone has now fully melted, and has begun to creep up his hand and onto his arm, latching onto his skin as it does so

gushing_granny: as he gets back onto his knees, he tries to crawl further, but the black substance continues to latch itself onto dans body, the blackness has now spread up his forearm and is now at the base of his shoulder and elbow

gushing_granny: "i have to keep.....going..."

gushing_granny: dan coughs up more blood

gushing_granny: "to....get back...to my world...."

gushing_granny: dans begins to close his eyes

gushing_granny: "to...."

gushing_granny: "make...."

gushing_granny: dan falls to the ground, blood drooling from his mouth and several wounds on his body

gushing_granny: "things...."

gushing_granny: the black substance has passed dans shoulder, and his now covering half of his face and chest

gushing_granny: "right....."

gushing_granny: dan blacks out

gushing_granny: the setting suddenly changes to nini, who is racing through the air as fast as she can

gushing_granny: "no, no, dan! i told you not to do it!"

gushing_granny: "ive locked onto his energy signature, but.....it....seems to keep going down!"

gushing_granny: "i have to find him!"

gushing_granny: (i didnt mention)

gushing_granny: (when dan went to fight the king, he really far away from where nini was in the kings floating vehicle thingy)

gushing_granny: (they are in a remote location 1000's of miles away from where she is)

gushing_granny: fast forward a few days

gushing_granny: when dan wakes up, he is on a bed

gushing_granny: "w-what?"

gushing_granny: all of his wounds are healed, and the black stuff that was on him is gone

gushing_granny: dan rubs his head as a small alien child runs into the room

gushing_granny: "master, he is awake!"

gushing_granny: dan looks at the child, it isnt an orc

gushing_granny: what the hell is it?

gushing_granny: he then looks up, another figure enters the room

gushing_granny: surprisingly, the strange alien man speak english

gushing_granny: "oh. dan. you're awake."

gushing_granny: "umm, well, ye- wait, how do you know my name?"

gushing_granny: "that isnt important."

gushing_granny: "the important thing however, is how lucky you are."

gushing_granny: dan looks at the alien guy gravely

gushing_granny: "you were on the verge of death when i found you. it would have been a shame if someone with powers such as your own had died."

gushing_granny: dan rubs his head again "uhuh. well....thanks"

gushing_granny: fast forward a bit, dan gets up and begins to make idle conversation with the alien man

gushing_granny: "so, you are referred to as....the master?"

gushing_granny: "yeah."

gushing_granny: "thats a dumb name."

gushing_granny: "pfft. better than dan the man."

gushing_granny: the alien guy and dan laugh

gushing_granny: "so, umm, if you dont mind me asking.....how did you find me?"

gushing_granny: "hmm? oh i was just walking through the woods when i heard this loud bang. i followed the sound and....there you were, all wounded, and covered in black stuff."

gushing_granny: "hmm."

gushing_granny: "so, how do you know english?"

gushing_granny: "the name of your language? oh, i just read your thoughts. nothing too difficult."

gushing_granny: dan looks at the alien guy like this ">.>"

gushing_granny: "you know, thats the SECOND time ive had that happen to me."

gushing_granny: "really? what was the first?"

gushing_granny: "some little robot gave me the ability to speak the orc language."

gushing_granny: "orc?"

gushing_granny: "umm, i mean, agravian."

gushing_granny: "oh.....those...."

gushing_granny: "something wrong"

gushing_granny: the alien guys voice suddenly takes on a serious tone

gushing_granny: "there are bad things happening on this planet right now."

gushing_granny: dan looks at the alien guy, listening intently

gushing_granny: "the ones you referred to as...orcs, was it? did they have green skin, and horns?"

gushing_granny: "yeah?"

gushing_granny: "those are not the original species of this world"

gushing_granny: the alien guy gestures to the peach-colored alien boy sitting there silently, watching dan and the alien guy speak

gushing_granny: "that is what they are supposed to look like."

gushing_granny: dan gasps "!!!!!"

gushing_granny: "b-but, how?"

gushing_granny: "they have been mutated by the dark energies on this world."

gushing_granny: (yohohoho)

gushing_granny: "dark....energy??" dan looks at the alien guy confused

gushing_granny: the alien guy sighs "ive said too much."

gushing_granny: he turns toward dan

gushing_granny: "you dont deserve to be involved in this dan."

gushing_granny: "i have read your thoughts, i know you come from another world, different from this one"

gushing_granny: dan remains silent

gushing_granny: "if you want, i could end this right now, and send you back to your world."

gushing_granny: "wait, what?"

gushing_granny: "you heard me."

gushing_granny: "....."

gushing_granny: dan looks from the alien dude, to the boy, who has remained silent this entire time

gushing_granny: "no."

gushing_granny: "continue"

gushing_granny: the alien man looks on in awe at dans words, though he does not show it

gushing_granny: ".....of course"

gushing_granny: "....the man ruling this world, the...king, if you will.....he has been exploiting this world for resources and has convinced the peoples that he is a some sort of god an-"

gushing_granny: "oh that? i already know that."

gushing_granny: the alien guy is puzzled

gushing_granny: "wait...how?"

gushing_granny: "ive already fought this "king". hes the reason you found me face down in a pool of my own blood."

gushing_granny: "wait.....why the hell would you do that?!"

gushing_granny: "pfft, i thought i could take him. he seemed weak enough"

gushing_granny: the alien guy facepalms

gushing_granny: "that man is a daemon, they are masters of combat and energy, they can-"

gushing_granny: if dan was eating food he would be spitting it out right now

gushing_granny: "WAIT A SECOND THAT GUY WAS ONE OF THOSE DEMON WHATEVERS"

gushing_granny: "FUCK, THATS WHY HE LOOKED SO FAMILIAR"

gushing_granny: the alien guy facepalms again

gushing_granny: dan calms down a bit "damn, i knew i shouldnt have fought him" he frowns

gushing_granny: "dan, let me ask you something."

gushing_granny: "shoot."

gushing_granny: "since you thought you could 'take' the king of this world on, im guessing you know how to use energy, at least a little bit."

gushing_granny: "huh?"

gushing_granny: "to even hope to defeat a warrior of that caliber, one must muster up their strongest attack to defeat it!"

gushing_granny: "well, i did do that....sorta"

gushing_granny: "and what happened, did you atleast damage him?"

gushing_granny: "well, umm..."

gushing_granny: dan breaks eye contact with the alien guy

gushing_granny: "not.....really?"

gushing_granny: "hmm, i wonder...."

gushing_granny: "what is it?"

gushing_granny: "i am the leader of a rebellion. i came to this planet to gather the people here who werent transformed by the dark energy, and teach them the nature of kan, so that they may take back what is theirs."

gushing_granny: "what the hell is kan?"

gushing_granny: "all of that will be revealed in time, young one."

gushing_granny: "but my question is, how do you feel about that fight?"

gushing_granny: "the fight? well....."

gushing_granny: "im sad."

gushing_granny: "sad?"

gushing_granny: "yeah. sad that even though i had power, i had no way to defeat that guy without....." dan looks at the ground, with tears in his eyes

gushing_granny: ".....defeating myself"

gushing_granny: "so, you want to get back at him right?"

gushing_granny: dan looks up

gushing_granny: "umm, well...."

gushing_granny: "dont be scared, child. tell me what you think."

gushing_granny: "......i want to kill him for what he did to me."

gushing_granny: "thats the spirit."

gushing_granny: "now, this may sound crazy."

gushing_granny: "but, what if i was willing to offer you an opportunity to learn a few new techniques so you could beat him?"

gushing_granny: "TECHNIQUES?"

gushing_granny: dans face lights up

gushing_granny: fast forward about an hour or two, and and the alien dude begin conversating and he gives dan some food because hes hungry

gushing_granny: the allien guy leads dan to a large room with no light inside except for a few blue torches on the wall

gushing_granny: "hey, why is it so dark in here?"

gushing_granny: "hmm? its never dark in here."

gushing_granny: "....>.>"

gushing_granny: dan grumbles to himself "yeah yeah, pretentious master, keep on spouting your cryptic trite."

gushing_granny: "what was that, child?"

gushing_granny: "umm, nothing."

gushing_granny: dan and the alien dude walk to the center of the room

gushing_granny: "now, if i am to teach you my techniques, first i have to gauge your skills a bit."

gushing_granny: "sounds fair."

gushing_granny: the alien guy suddenly rushes dan, punching him in the face

gushing_granny: dan recoils "OWW, WHAT THE HELL MAN"

gushing_granny: the alien guy circles behind him and kicks at dans back

gushing_granny: "not this time...." dan quickly spins out of the way of the kick, stepping back into the alien guys body frame

gushing_granny: "take this!" dan jabs at the alien guys throat

gushing_granny: the alien guy catches dans fist with ease

gushing_granny: as dan struggles to write out of his grasp, the alien guy begins to calmly speak

gushing_granny: "hmm, your reaction skills and speed are half-decent, but you seem to get easily distracted"

gushing_granny: he palms away dans fist and back steps away from him

gushing_granny: "now, the moment of truth."

gushing_granny: dan looks at the alien guy, half thinking "what is this guy talking about?" and half thinking "how the hell did i end up in this situation?"

gushing_granny: "hey dan, shoot an energy attack at me."

gushing_granny: "what?"

gushing_granny: "you know, that stuff i was talking about before, kan, the nature of energy, all that. shoot some of that 'stuff' at me."

gushing_granny: "um, ok."

gushing_granny: the alien guy watches dan intently

gushing_granny: dan widens his stance and begins to close his eyes

gushing_granny: he floods his mind with negative thoughts

gushing_granny: "hmm? his energy is rising at a peculiar rate."

gushing_granny: dan chants to himself slowly

gushing_granny: "pain is power, pain is power, pain is power"

gushing_granny: as a mass of dark blue energy surrounds dan and his eyes begin to glow, the alien guy suddenly gets a very angry, concerned look on his face

gushing_granny: "DAN, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING"

gushing_granny: he flies at dan at an immense speed, chanting a few words under his breath

gushing_granny: "kan art: karmic sealing"

gushing_granny: he outstretches his palm and thrusts it against dans chest

gushing_granny: a thick layer of translucent, green energy surrounds dans body, restricting his movements, making him topple over like a big domino

gushing_granny: "hey, what the fuck?"

gushing_granny: "you tell me to use energy and then you bind me to the floor, what the hell are you doing?"

gushing_granny: "WHAT YOU ARE DOING IS NOT USING ENERGY"

gushing_granny: dan looks at the alien guy, extremely surprised

gushing_granny: "what"

gushing_granny: "YOU ARENT USING YOUR PULSE AT ALL, WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?"

gushing_granny: dan, laying in the box of green energy, begins to look sad

gushing_granny: "I FELT IT, YOU WERE USING YOUR EMOTIONS TO CONTROL IT, WERENT YOU?"

gushing_granny: dan slowly nods

gushing_granny: "D.....DONT DO THAT."

gushing_granny: "AND THAT ENERGY, WHERE THE HELL DID YOU"

gushing_granny: suddenly the alien guy stops, and realizes something

gushing_granny: ".....i see, so that must be it."

gushing_granny: "what must be it?"

gushing_granny: "its not important, i now know what to do."

gushing_granny: he walks over to dan, releasing him from the box of energy

gushing_granny: "i used that technique to stop the movement of energy within your body."

gushing_granny: "if i had not done so, it would have destroyed you, do you understand"

gushing_granny: dan suddenly recalls the memory of not being able to move his arm after he attempted to punch the orc king while it was surrounded in energy, a frustrated look appears on his face

gushing_granny: "yeah."

gushing_granny: "i dont think you are strong enough to control energies like that. but lucky for you, i have a solution."

gushing_granny: "what is it?" dan looks at the alien guy, excited

gushing_granny: here, give me your arm

gushing_granny: forgot dem quotes

gushing_granny: "sure" dan extends his arm toward the alien guy

gushing_granny: the alien guy softly touches it, and a white aura appears around his body

gushing_granny: "ok, now i want you do that thing you did before to summon that energy"

gushing_granny: "wait, didnt you just say it would destroy me?"

gushing_granny: "just do it already, dont question the master."

gushing_granny: "hmph, no need to be a dick about it."

gushing_granny: dan floods his mind with negative thoughts

gushing_granny: "yes...i feel it"

gushing_granny: the alien guy waves his hand, a small black stone suddenly appears infront of him

gushing_granny: "ok....just gotta..."

gushing_granny: a small spark of light appears around the alien guys hands

gushing_granny: ".....got it"

gushing_granny: he holds his hand up, a bright blue ball of energy floats from it

gushing_granny: "dan, take the ball with your other hand"

gushing_granny: the alien guy floats the ball of energy to dans other hand, and dan touches is

gushing_granny: "almost done.....now...."

gushing_granny: the alien guy floats the small black stone over to dans other hand

gushing_granny: as the stone makes contact with the bright blue ball of energy and dans energy, the ball of energy is sucked into the stone and into dans hand

gushing_granny: "ahh! that was tingly!"

gushing_granny: o shit

gushing_granny: u left

gushing_granny: eh, dont blam ya, if ur tired ur tired

gushing_granny: i gotta finish up this part tho

gushing_granny: the alien guy steps back from dan

gushing_granny: "now, try to summon that energy again."

gushing_granny: dan floods his mind with negative emotions

gushing_granny: a bright blue aura surrounds him, it lights up the whole room

gushing_granny: "wow, i can sort of feel it..."

gushing_granny: "this is amazing!!!"

gushing_granny: the aura disperses

gushing_granny: "hmm, i wonder when ill-"

gushing_granny: dan recoils a bit when he feels a sharp sting in his side, but the pain quickly subsides

gushing_granny: "huh? that was it."

gushing_granny: "it isnt perfect, but its definitely better than what you had before."

gushing_granny: dan hugs the alien guy "OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH"

gushing_granny: "adding in the stable forces to make the energy less destructive cuts the power down around 35%, but at least you wont harm your body nearly as much using it"

gushing_granny: dan stops hugging the alien guy, looking at him like this ">.>"
