- A good, reliable overview of the hacks is "How Russia Pulled Off the Biggest Election Hack in U.S. History" by Thomas Rid, which can be found at:

- FRED DICKER
- Let me ask you this, though. What I can't get my head around is the claim that the Russians did all this hacking, as if the Russians wouldn't possess the expertise to disguise any hacking that went on. And we haven't seen any proof from The New York Times, from the Post, or from anybody else, to back up the claims of unnamed security people at the CIA, that the Russians were involved in this. Now, if you would just talk about how you come to have some knowledge about this, and then tell us what you've learned.
- RANDY CREDICO
- Okay, first of all, let's go to James Clapper the other day, who said there's absolutely no smoking gun and connection between Russia and Wikileaks and all of that. Now: getting back to Russia, obviously, they want to use that, whoever the establishment in Washington is, that includes people like McCain and Lindsay Graham, and Democrats like Schumer, to discredit, they don't like Trump, a), and b), they have this, uh, hard-on for Russia. I don't know why, you know, geo-political, there's a whole bunch of reasons. But as far as their involvement in this, it's so obvious the way they set it up, Craig Murray, who we'll talk about in a minute, in an article said, "They're using these codenames like Big Bear, Mama Bear, and we know Russia is the land of the bears," since the sixteenth century, they call it the bear. And so, they make it so obvious that it's Russia, whoever's giving out these reports, that it can't be them [these designations were made by the firm Crowd Strike, they're not self-designated, and Cozy Bear is also known as The Dukes], it's too obvious, it's so much the Russians, it can't be the Russians, because, yes, they do have probably some very sophisticated hackers and sophisticated equipment there, but this whole thing about them, uh, tapping into the DNC and into Podesta, is complete baloney. And I'll tell you why: Craig Murray, who has been on my show, so far he's been on four times, he was talking about this months ago. Months ago.
- DICKER
- And he's a former, he's an Englishman, former U.K. ambassador to Uzbekistan.
- CREDICO
- He's from Scotland...
- DICKER
- ...and he's close to Julian Assange.
- CREDICO
- He's Scottish born, UK diplomat. Ex-diplomat. And he was in Uzbekistan, and he got sacked, because he complained about CIA torture sites in Uzbekistan, and was banned from the U.S., but he got in to get this Sam Adams award in Virginia, a few months back. He got in, and he's a very credible man, he did all the negotiations for the FCO, which is the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, in Africa, so, the guy is a career [diplomat], he's an intellectual, brilliant guy, I don't know if you've heard him on the radio, he's so good, and on television, and he's a close friend of Julian Assange. So, he has been on talking about this, you go to his website, craigmurray dot org dot uk, and you can see, it's laughable, he couldn't stop laughing at some of these reports that are coming out, claiming, he said it took me a while to write this article, because I couldn't stop laughing. Now, here's a guy who's on the inside and knows, very credible, highly respected, renowned, UK, and author, he's...epic book on a diplomat, back in-
- DICKER
- Randy, I don't doubt he has credentials. You know, he could be an agent of the Russians for all we know. He may be being paid...
- CREDICO
- -it's an inside leak-
- DICKER
- What evidence does he have, if he has any, that it's not the Russians? Or what argument does he make to show that it's not the Russians?
- CREDICO
- Well, because he knows the person that, uh, disgruntled employee, it's called blowback. A lot of people are upset with Obama, who has used the Espionage Act to crack down on whistleblowers more than anybody, all combined, since Wilson. Since Wilson.
- DICKER
- Yeah, I understand, but his bottom line is to claim that a Democrat at the DNC actually leaked the information.
- CREDICO
- The DNC...this disgruntled Democrat gave it to whoever it was, Julian Assange was on Sean Hannity, I give Sean Hannity a lot of credit for having him on, and asking him very pertinent questions...you know, I gotta go to Sean Hannity, ironically, as a liberal-
- DICKER
- Yeah, I know.
- CREDICO
- -to get real news. To get real news-
- DICKER
- So Craig Murray is alleging there was no hacking at all, and in fact, the purloined documents came on a thumb drive, or something that was taken, not through hacking?
- CREDICO
- Yes. Now, he had made a statement the other day, in the Daily Mail [http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4034038/Ex-British-ambassador-WikiLeaks-operative-claims-Russia-did-NOT-provide-Clinton-emails-handed-D-C-park-intermediary-disgusted-Democratic-insiders.html], that he was the guy. Julian Assange would make no comment, no state actors are involved. Now, Julian Assange has a 100% record on what he says and what they publish-
- DICKER
- Yeah, but hold on Randy, let's assume Assange is telling the truth, and I have no reason to believe he's lying, that there are no Russians, as far as he knows, involved, it certainly could be whoever he got them from was involved with the Russians. Isn't that a possibility? How could he rule that out?
- CREDICO
- He could rule it out because it wasn't a state actor involved, I mean, there are certain things I don't want to talk about, but...I can tell you that there are state- he definitely- I would risk my life on this. I'd lay ten to one, that it's not a state actor from Russia involved in this. And so, Craig Murray would say the same thing, he was here, in D.C., he spoke to the guy, the guy handed it off to him, he was at this gathering of intelligence agents, past and present, the Sam Adams Award ceremony, that he presented, to this guy William Binney, and he spoke, and he said, with authority, on my show, if you listen to, if you listen to, him on any of his radio shows, or read any of his articles, it's very clear that it's not the Russians. Now, why are they saying this right now? Why - they're trying to undermine Trump, obviously. I'm not a big fan of Trump, but obviously this is a concerted effort to undermine Trump. Trump, I give him credit for not taking the information, these daily briefs from the CIA, who knows if they're real? Who knows if he's being manipulated by the CIA? You know, I tell you something, this guy from Exxon [Rex Tillerson] has his own intelligence unit, probably more honest than the CIA. So...Trump is a wise guy. He's in his seventies, he's been around the block a few times, and there are reasons why he's not taking it from the CIA, he may have got it from Kelly [Secretary of Homeland Security John Kelly], or others in this upcoming cabinet, who said, hey look, you can't trust these guys, and he probably trusts more than the guys they're talking about.
