BACKGROUND | Alyce was born in Ålesund, Norway and was raised in Minsk, Belarus to a Finn-Belarussian father and a Korean mother.
Growing up, she had always been attached towards her father - given the fact that she had zero relationship with her own mother - thus, she does not deny the fact that she is a daddy's girl. If ever she was left alone with her mother, there will always be an awkward air around them and they will absolutely not talk to each other.

At first, Alyce was sad and hurt because her mother acts so caring and loving towards her older brother but towards her, it was like they have no relationship whatsoever. Alyce had begged her father to be enrolled in ice skating classes, ballet classes and even acting class - just so she could make her mother proud. But none of it mattered. And as the years passed, Alyce had finally gave up. Thus, she really hates it when she will talk about her mother.

Despite calling Minsk her hometown, Alyce would often tag with her father who travels a lot. Alyce was thirteen when their family had migrated to South Korea because of her father's work. She had studied in Korea Kent Foreign School wherein she had met Soojung Jung (Krystal) who became one of her best friends despite the age gap. She was the one who had noticed that Alyce can rap and she had then discovered the younger girl's love for skating and therefore, her talent of flexibility. Soojung was the one who had encouraged her to audition to entertainment companies - specifically at SM Entertainment. And he did auditioned but sadly, he was rejected. Soojung told him if SM would not have him, then, he might as well audition for other entertainments such as JYP, Jellyfish, FNC and Cube. It seemed so unlikely that even Alyce could not believed it. She was accepted by the four entertainments she auditioned at. In 2010, he officially joined JYP Entertainment as a trainee.

During her days as a trainee in JYP, she had made friends but her friendship with Jinyoung (Junior as he was called during those times) stand out. Jinyoung had became one of her best friends (aside from Soojung). In the early 2013, Alyce had resigned from JYP Entertainment due to a falling out between her and Yugyeom that had became almost impossible for them to fix and the toxicity between her and Nayeon had grown worse. Alyce had made a decision that leaving would probably the best for all of them.

Alyce had spent weeks contemplating and reorganizing her thoughts. And she came to a conclusion that he wanted to continue the path to become an idol. Sure, she loves figure skating but she had grown to love performing as well. It was just her luck that he was scouted by Jay Park himself who was curious about her. Before leaving JYP, Alyce was set to debut in 2015 as a soloist, and it piqued Jay Park's interest because who would leave when they were set to debut right? He had invited her to audition for AOMG and she was accepted.

Alyce had always been compared to her namesake, Alice - from Alice in Wonderland. She had always been an adventurer - often can be seen upsetting traditional expectations because of her experiments. She is very daring and curious - she likes to try and learn new things as well as explore places. Alyce is bery honest - to the point she does not know how to lie and keeping a secret is hard for her. She can also be savage and really, she does not know why some people found get savageness endearing. She is quite laid-back and was often commented that nothing seems to faze her. Although, being laid-back, there are times that she could care less about what was happening if it does not concern her or should she concern herself about. However, there are things that could set her 'legendary' temper such as talking about her mother - she absolutely loathes that topic.

Alyce is also a very curious child if something piques her interest, no doubt, it would keep her restless until she can satisfy her curiosity. It also means that she can go through any lengths, even by invading the personal space of others, if it would help in quenching her curiosity. It does help the fact that she becomes very unaware of her surroundings when she is contemplating about things. In addition, she is also very imaginative and often thinks of topics that are deep and one would say out of this world.

Alyce, despite her laidback personality, can be quite passionate when doing that things that she absolutely loves such as sports and performing. She is artistic not only in the field of arts but also in the field of literature. In a sense, her way of thinking - artistic or abstract in a sense. She views things in different angles and explores them in different angles, at times, she could see the 'hidden' side of things and combine them to form a unique view.

The thing about Alyce though, she is very independent and often keeps things to herself and she tends to push people away. Because of this, she usually likes to accomplish and do things herself, rarely asking for help for she thinks she will only bring burden to others. She is also sensitive and gets emotionally hurt quite easily although she will hide this fact by acting cold or simply brushing it off as if it was nothing. She is also sensitive to the feelings of others and often takes their opinions into consideration. However, she is too sensitive of them that she sometimes forgot about to prioritize herself and would most probably act as a martyr for them especially for those people who are close to her. She is very unpredictable and emotional that it is hard to know what she is thinking of. This tends to become a problem because she may say things without thinking about them thoroughly first.

Alyce is very prideful that she this tendency to be somewhat vain and it takes her quite a while before she admits her mistake and asks for forgiveness and to ask and accept help from others (which she avoids unless she absolutely needs them). She is very charismatic and tends to use it to her advantage or for the favor of the group. In addition, she also has a silver tongue - being able to say what people wanted to hear and being able to persuade people.

In front of the public, her charisma attracts a lot of attention and she does her best to entertain the crowd. She also knows how to act in public as if it was a second-nature for her to entertain them. After being exposed in spotlight, she begins to revert to her real self and does self-analysis.

Jaehyun is definitely – most definitely – can be said as the perfect boyfriend material. Tall, handsome, and sweet – who would not want to be his girlfriend, right? No doubt, Jaehyun is the dream man of many girls. According to his fans, he is the type who would give them a wink as an acknowledgment and waves to them whenever he sees them. In short, Jaehyun is nice and sweet even towards his fans.
In actual reality, that is not far from his personality. He is a real gentleman – he really has high respect for woman whether they may be older or younger than he is. He is nice and has this tendency to drop whatever he is doing if it means he can help anyone who is need especially if they are elders and woman. He is the type who would never raise his voice (unless it was acting) and he cannot stand seeing anyone hurt (physically or emotionally). Therefore, he does whatever he can to lend a hand to them.

He is also very sweet – he has this tendency to do even the simple sweet gestures towards his fans such as winking, waving at them or even blowing a kiss. Jaehyun is very cheerful and friendly. He is like a ball of sunshine inside the room – always laughing, always smiling and always finding a way to make people smile. He is very welcoming and would be the first person who would make you feel welcome when you’re surrounded by celebrities like him and by strangers. In line with this, he is quite playful. He does not mind going along with the antics of the people he is with and he can even go as far as pretending to be in love with his members - especially with Taeyong and Taeil - if that makes people happy. This also means that he can be quite mischievous and would cause mischief along with some members of NCT. They would do simple and harmless tricks towards their friends but at the end of the day, they would treat those people they’ve done tricks to as a peace-offering.

He can be quite paternal without knowing it. This is evident when he is surrounded by kids and by the younger members of NCT – witnesses say that he treats them (the kids and his younger members of NCT) as if they were his own. The hyung line of NCT usually teases him that he had too many children already and he is not even married yet. Jaehyun would jokingly reply that his future wife would just have to deal with his too many to name children.

The thing about Jaehyun though, he is very – very, very – possessive and can be quite melodramatic and such a drama queen – or king – as well. He dislikes it when people touch his stuff without his permission and does not like to share. Being possessive it also means that he is quite protective and a jealous person, a – very, very – jealous person. Despite his gentleness, sweetness, kindness and every positive thing about him, a jealous Jaehyun is a dangerous Jaehyun, a dangerous Jaehyun is a demon Jaehyun and a koala Jaehyun. He has this tendency to cling to his beloved whenever feeling jealous and be more affectionate (even in public). And yes, he can be that terrible but only when his patience runs out, his jealousy is still growing at the same time and a certain someone is not doing damage control.
