- Name: Graham (His home name is a series of static-like noises)
- Race: Gaxurial
- Age: In "human years," 29
- Appearance
- Graham stands at about six feet tall, but this height changes depending on electrical variations. He takes on a humanoid form, but must be contained within his suit. His race has little physical form, asides from a net-like nervous system and brain. They mingle freely with the gases on their home planet, but in order to efficiently engineer and interact with other races, they build exosuits that allow them to take on a physical form.
- The majority of Graham's suit is black as night, with six white rings down the back that outline power cells, and singular white stripes down the arms and legs. It is outfitted with nanomachines. It has three fingers that can be split into up to six, and digitigrade legs. The facemask is clear, but the bluish white mist that fills the interior of the suit obscures Graham's true form from view.
- Graham's true form is a web of yellowish strings of neurons, all connected to a solid-white "brain."
- Personality: Graham is highly excitable by human standards, and readily finishes his work. He is good at taking orders, but prefers to be left to his own devices of invention and repair.
- Equipment
- Toolkit
- Tools, Scrap metal, Spare parts, Extra wires
- Nanosuit: Graham has customized his nanosuit over the time he's been on Earth. He has upgraded it several times with the help of other engineers and doctors.
- Among the upgrades are the IAU (Internal Analysis Unit), the SDG (Sonar Detection Grid), a UT (Universal Translator), and the CMP (Chemical Makeup Processor).
- The IAU determines the state of Graham's internal form. It keeps track of his nerve mesh, locates and seals breaches in the suit, and monitors his health. It alerts him of anomalies.
- The SDG sends out incredibly high-frequency pings, like a bat, and upon their return maps out the area for Graham. His species's vision is lacking, so the sonar is essentially seeing for him. His species can use sonar themselves, but while within the suit it is ineffective.
- The UT translates any language that Graham has had time to analyze into his native language. While the list is currently small, he adds to it any chance he gets. It also translate anything he says to the language of his choice, since a variety of static at different pitches means nothing to other races.
- The CMP analyzes anything put in the "mouth" of the suit and shows Graham the chemical makeup. Anything that would make his species sick, or kill him, is removed until all that is left is nutrients. The waste is placed in a small black pod in Graham's "chin."

- Background
- Graham was never happy on his home planet of Ioneth. He always wanted to see the stars, speak with other races, represent the Gaxurial as best he could. When a large transport ship landed on a nearby moon, creating a colony of Vrethka, the Gaxurial immediately created a ship to bring several dozen of their people up to investigate.
- Graham immediately volunteered, and was one of the first aboard the ship. He was given a basic exosuit and allowed to visit the colony. While there, he quickly grew to love mingling with another species. The exosuit allowed him a new kind of interaction he never had before, and enabled him to begin engineering.
- Once his visit was over, he kept the exosuit and helped found a space station for his planet in a nearby asteroid belt, so they could mine and begin manufacturing more exosuits for his people. While there, he upgraded his own suit until it was near the point it is at today. But he grew tired of only interacting with his people and the Vrethka, he yearned for adventure. The moment a ship exited its warp speed in his galaxy, he was the first of his people on board.
- The Gaxurial are not a widespread species, mostly inhabiting gas giants that no other race would dare touch. But this ship was not the Gaxurial. They were headed out for a comet, they were miners. While it wasn't the most exciting, this could give Graham a chance to learn new languages, make money for himself, and fund his ventures into the unknown, to become a paragon for his people and to fill his mesh with knowledge from other stars.
- After the equivalent of a year on the comet, Graham boarded a new ship heading for Earth, to study new opportunities and live among the Earthlings. Earth was the melting pot that Graham needed, and he stayed there until the universe practically began caving in on itself.
