Covet: Cadence was in the kitchen getting some corn tortillas warmed up for some street style steak tacos with the fresh salsa and the cilantro and lime and all that good shit.
Tsaaq: Eugene glanced down at his arms as they walked towards the apartment. "Do you think I'm bulking up?" He asked softly as Remy pulled out his keys to the door. "I feel like we go to the gym but nothing happens." // Remy shook his head. "You only run on the treadmill, you're never gonna bulk up if you just do cardio." He said as he opened the door. "I'm home!" He called out.
Covet: "Welcome Home, Tacos are pretty much ready if you guys are hungry from your workout." She said as she started to get some plates down for the guys, so she could get them set up with tacos on them. "What do you guys want to drink?"
Tsaaq: "Beer?" He answered unsurely before looking at Remy. Already reeling from hearing that cardio didn't make a person buff. "Or maybe some some soda?" He asked, sitting down on at the table. // "I love when I come home and you've made some shit to eat." He smirked as he went to kiss her. He hovered over her. "Need any help?" He asked. He shook his head at Eugene. "Soda, and I'll take a beer."
Covet: "After realizing it was Tuesday, I kind of felt like Tacos were essential." she said kissing him back. "No, just go sit down at the table and I'll bring out your plates, and drinks." She told him as she went about loading up the tortillas with meat and salsa. She brought the finished plates over to the table, then went back to the fridge to get a water for herself, a beer for Remy and a soda for Eugene, "How was your workout?"
Tsaaq: He tapped his hands on the table and waited for everyone to return to the table, going quiet. // "Fine." He smirk and kissed her temple then sat down at the table. "It was pretty great. Gyms are always a good distraction..." He trailed off, beginning to think hard. "How was school for you?"
Covet: "It was good, we went over coordinating patterns, and textures with "fall" pallets." Cadence said as if she expected either of them to get that. She sat down with them and started in on her tacos.
Tsaaq: Eugene stared at Cadence with a blank stare and glanced over to Remy with a confused expression. // "Aw babe." He smiled and and went to pinch her cheek even though he had no idea what she was talking about. "How's cheer and shit?" He asked casually, looking over to Eugene. "Eat." He commanded.
Covet: Cadence gave a confused grin as he pinched her cheek, "It's going good. I was helping out Dori with her backtuck, but then she got all boo hooey right after we were told we could leave"
Tsaaq: Eugene obliged and listened intently to the two of them. "I think I know that girl." He said quietly. // "Who?" He asked with a small chuckle as he grabbed a taco and began to nom. He looked at the two of them.
Covet: "The chick that was with Thaddeus at the dance." Cadence said as she went about eating the tacos. "But yeah, she was being all quiet and kind of mopey or some shit."
Tsaaq: "She kind of just seems like that to me..." He trailed off. "Are you guys going to the dress up event at the comic book store?" He asked with a tenative look. // Remy furrowed his eyebrows. "I fucking guess so." He said, trying to remember her. "Those things are for nerds." He answered immediately then turned to Cadence again. "Why do you think she was being mopey?"
Covet: "Probably not. Not really into that whole nerd scene, are you intending to go?" She asked Eugene then went back to Remy, giving a shrug, "I don't know, I didn't ask, I was there to cheer not have some sort of Therapy sesh. It probably had something to do with Thad, but I don't really want anything to do with him either."
Tsaaq: Eugene nodded his head slowly then slouched into his seat, proceeding to eat. // "Ugh." He scoffed. "I wanna kick that guy's ass so bad." He murmured. "Well... At least everything else is okay." He shrugged.
Covet: "I've offered to help kick his ass, I'm totally for this plan." Cadence said, in a tone that suggested she was one hundred percent already in for it. "For Hayley's sake, my own.. yours... Fuck that guy." She said taking another bite to keep herself from venting.
Tsaaq: "Who?" Eugene asked, his eyebrows furrowed as he looked between the two of them. "What's he got to do with Hayley?" He continued to inquire. // He inhaled angrily. "Him and the other fucking guys on the basketball team. Fucking scumbags." Remy stared at Eugene then sighed, wiping his mouth.
Covet: "He's.. just.. done a lot of shit.. to a lot of girls around here. It was a while ago, but it still really fucked a lot of people up. Hayley just happened to get the worst of it." Cadence said, "Especially considering he yeah, conned the rest of the basketball team into helping his ass."
Tsaaq: Eugene still looked puzzled. "Like, he took them on dates then didn't call them after?" He asked innocently. His eyes widened. // Remy chewed slowly before nudging Cadence. "Don't even worry about it Gene, you dont even go here."
Covet: "Yeah, something like that." Cadence said pursing her lips as she sat back so she could take her plate into the kitchen so she could put it in the dishwasher, "Anyone else done?"
Tsaaq: "Well that sucks." He said before looking down at his plate. "Yeah I'm done." He said. "So... Can..." He trailed off. Noticing Cadence's titties just then and he totes looking. // "No. Sit down with me and we'll keep eating." He said. "I'm having a lot of problems picking groomsmen and I can't tell if it's embarrassing or not."
Covet: Cadence moved to sit back down at the table after putting her plate away. "It's not embarassing, I know it's difficult for you to decide who your close friends are and all. But just think about those people that would want to share in our special moment with you. People that have known you, or us for a long time. Those sorts of things." Cadence told him.
Tsaaq: "You could always think of some people from Jersey." Eugene suggested. // Remy glared at his cousin then turned to Cadence. "Yeah but..." He trailed off. "I don't want to be like the Logan guy and just ask the only other guy around to be my best man."
Covet: Cadence bursted out laughing, "I totally forgot about that guy. God that wedding was awful." She said then composed herself, "So then don't. Pick a couple of people that know you well. I'm sure if you asked someone like Bryan, he'd do it in a heartbeat. Eugene could be up there without it seeming awkward."
Tsaaq: "Right." He said quietly and got up from the table. // Remy began to laugh, out of fucking control cause they were dicks. "Exactly." He said. "Well..." He trailed off. "I guess I can ask. It's not like I'm asking fucking Justin."
Covet: "Fuck Justin. He can't even be a busboy at our wedding. I didn't even send an invitation that direction to either Reiger's" Cadence said, "Exactly, ask and the worst thing that happens is Bryan says he can't go because of work or whatever. But he told me he was planning on coming back."
