  90. Bio: The name of Raajak Khan was once known and feared by many in the hinterlands of Sampia. As an arbiter in the service of one of the local elite, Khan commanded a certain amount of wary respect from the commoners as they raised cattle and caught lesser prey animals to serve as tribute for his master. Few were willing to stand up to the fearsome tiger laguz, and those who tried rarely had much luck against his mighty claws and thick hide.
  91.
  92. As time passed, however, Raajak grew dissatisfied with his role of pushing around helpless peasants. More and more often he began issuing warnings to commoners who displeased his master, instead of punishing them as per his instructions. He longed to test his might as a genuine warrior, not act as a glorified bully.
  93.
  94. The final straw came when Raajak was ordered to slay a pack of humans that had unwittingly strayed inside Sampia's borders. While the laguz had no real love for humans, their lack of weapons and the presence of cubs in the pack rendered him unable to fulfill his orders in good conscience. Kahn's last act before deserting his master's service was to scare the human pack back to the safety of their own lands.
  95.
  96. Raajak left his home behind and began to travel, seeking out bandits and criminals in order to defeat them. His victories earned him a more genuine respect from many of the laguz commoners, and gave Raajak a taste for hero work. This taste would eventually come to be his downfall: a rumor of human slavers capturing laguz to use as gladiators led to the tiger rushing to their aid alone and unprepared. He himself was defeated after a short but vicious battle, but rather than granting Raajak a merciful death the slavers instead decided to capture him for use in their pit fights. While Khan fought mightily to resist the extortions of the slavers, he was forced to participate in several fights against his fellow laguz. Fortunately, the Prince's men arrived and saved the day before Raajak or any of his opponents could be permanently injured.
