  1. The Court of the Patrons:
  2. Characters: Cliona, Morrighan
  3. Premise: Cliona sits through a sermon and meets with her bae.
  4.
  5. The Court:
  6.
  7. Cliona had heard this story dozens of times.
  8.
  9. Aleft on the doorsteps of the church in Albey, she had been raised with the preists and a bishops of the Court of the Patrons, the widespread religion dedicated to the praise of the gods who governed the world from parts unknown. Granted, recent attacks on the world by those very same gods have tested the faith of everyone, even the High Preist, but her faith remained resolute.
  10.
  11. However, didn't make this tale any less boring.
  12.
  13. Father Magh, a man of stature and old age, has been recounting the trials of Etain, a wo. It was a beautiful story, one of her faith coming into frutiion.
  14.
  15. Cliona was only concerned with one thing at the time, the return of her _, Morrighan. Despite the very fact that the rest of the church viewed the Godsbane's own existence as an affront to the Gods, Cliona believed differently. Maybe it was her deviant trains of throught on the nature of the gods, or maybe it was because every second she spent near her, her heart raced with the anticipation that she'd get to spend even the smallest amount of time with her beloved.
  16.
  17. -----
  18. After her meeting with the regional commander, Morrighan set out to find the location of the town's Coven. The town of Cobh was based near the sea, with the smells of salt and fish overwhelming her nose. The people were bustling and moving as if in preperation for some large event. morrighan recalled the second reason she was to visit Cobh, to support her longtime friend, Cliona. Although in her eyes, the word friends doesn't scrape the surface of the feelings Morrighan carried for her; for a lo waiting for the moment until they'd draw their faces together with open lips and the warmth of each other's moist breath until...!
  19.
  20. Morrighan realized she had been standing in the same spot for 10 minutes, daydreaming about a girl.
  21.
  22. Morrighan followed the cobblestone path to the Coven of Cobh, a humble cathedral at the edge of the , with it's backside built into the base of a cliff face. The stones were grey and , and it's glass, but the true beauty, in her eyes, laid within. She opened the doors to the main hall, swinging the with a resounding crash that echoed throughout the halls. She didn't hear anyone, the place was entirely silent, with only the roar of the nearby ocean creating noise. "Hello?" She yelled into the halls of the coven, which echoed her cry.
  23.
  24. "Morrighan!" a voice yelled in response from the winding wings of the church. Morrighan heard a flurry off footsteps before she found herself in a familiar embrace. Holding her tightly and looking up at the face of her statuesque, iron-clad companion, she smiles at her with enough warmth to melt the caps off of the Mount of Turiadh. Morrighan, met her expression, desperately trying not to melt. It wasn't working.
  25.
  26. "I'm so glad you were able to come! I was worried you'd gotten lost in the forest, or worse..." Cliona's expression began to falter, and Morrighan quickly rushed to reassure her "I had to deal with some wolves and escort a man back to his home, but nothing serious, just a distraction.", "Oh good! So...I assume you're free now?"
  27.
  28. "As a bird."
