  1. Tomorrow night is the party, it’s been almost a full week since I’ve last logged anything, but there has been nothing of extreme interest or value worth logging and with what little space I have left in this journal. As usual I’m writing this before being called down for breakfast, I still don’t know why I’m allowed to eat with Lady Miyabi nor why most of my tasks involve just accompanying her or staying here at the estate. I’ve also been unable to explore the estate and record anything in the last week. Today we’re going into town to make some purchases, though Lady Miyabi asked me if I would join her on this trip is another mystery, I’m help why bother asking me as if I had an actual choice? I’ll try my best to remember any conversations and events for the log later. The maid is knocking and asking me if I’m ready, though it seems earlier than usual looking at the clock hanging above the desk I sit at.
  2.
  3. Looking at the clock now it’s about 3 in the afternoon, We’ve been gone since 11 this morning meaning we’ve been out for a few hours. The trip to town was like the last one; Lady Miyabi handing Matilda a map, with Matilda taking it with some hesitation. When we arrived in town, instead of the normal stop on the main street we stopped at the town hall. I sat in the auto and waited while Lady Miyabi said she had to collect something from them. It was times like that where I wish I had a watch, but eventually Miyabi came back with an envelope that was sealed, she looked extremely pleased about it. I didn’t ask, the contents were most likely none of my business. As she tucked the unseen documents she turned to me, her face filled with joy.
  4.
  5. “Anon, while we’re in town is there anything you’d like?” Lady Miyabi asked me.
  6.
  7. I thought for a few brief seconds, puffing out my cheeks as I thought before deciding. “Well I could use a couple blank journals, ” I said earnestly, “but I have no way of buying them so it’s just a wish.”
  8.
  9. “Well Anon, I could buy those for you if you do something for me,” She said, I noted a rather malicious tone in her voice as she spoke.
  10.
  11. “What, would Lady Miyabi require of me?” My response strained, I quickly began regretting my earlier response.
  12.
  13. I started to prepare myself for anything, but not what she asked, “Do you like my outfit?”
  14.
  15. Her question was something I wasn’t prepared for. I looked quickly at her, trying not to stare, her sheer black dress was to say the least fitting for her figure.
  16.
  17. “It looks...nice,” I managed to get out before Lady Miyabi pulled me into a hug.
  18.
  19. “Anon you’re so sweet~” she squealed in delight. “There should be some place in town that sells journals to write in, buy as many as you need.”
  20.
  21. I didn’t say much, to be fair when she hugs me like that I feel really peaceful and calm. I admit though I have grievances with this entire situation I find it harder and harder to be mad at Lady Miyabi who sees to do nothing but treat me nicely, but part of me is still upset about everything at the end of the day and it’s something I truly can’t forgive her for. We left the car, walking around the town ducking into a general store that lay not that far from the Town Hall. I wasn’t too greedy, my purchase being 5 journals. I thanked Lady Miyabi whose face seemed to light up as I gave my thanks. Again we stopped for lunch at a cafe, this time an outdoor one called the Harpy’s nest, rather aptly named after our server introduced herself. Elizabeth, a harpy with rather bright red plumage her accent sounded foreign, her mannerisms seemed to the point despite her rather poor grasp on the English language.
  22.
  23. Eventually our lunch was served to us, it was quite a feat watching a harpy carry the plates, but she did it with a fair bit of grace. Our meal was eaten in relative silence, not much to say with mouths full of food I guess. After our meal was finished I helped Lady Miyabi out of her chair and waited while she paid for the lunch. I notice her and Elizabeth talking, quickly looking over at me and laughing. I honestly felt my face go red, they were probably mocking me for my current situation. With lunch done we continued shopping, our last stop of the day being a drug store where Lady Miyabi picked up a package, it looked like a 6 pack of cola but the bottles were filled with strange yellowish liquid.
  24.
  25. “Lady Miyabi, can I ask what’s in those bottles?” I asked as we left the drug store.
  26.
  27. She smiled rather disarmingly at me, “it’s a type of drink that gives you lots of energy Anon.” She said, “but it’s for a special occasion.”
  28.
  29. Her answer was good enough for me, I felt no need to continue prying into it. We met Matilda back at the car, Lady Miyabi having me hand one of the packages to Matilda whose tail seemed to wag in excitement. Watching Matilda open it, I found out it was lunch for her, a rather nice looking sandwich from the cafe. With my curiosity sated I helped Lady Miyabi into the car while Matilda ate her lunch, she seemed to savour the food and I don’t blame her since the meal I had there was rather tasty. I found myself having trouble stay awake on the car ride home, the full stomach and comfortable ride eventually losing. I am embarrassed to admit journal, that I found myself waking up slumped against Lady Miyabi who seemed rather touched. I feel like I should log my embarrassment so I may learn from it.
  30.
  31. “Did you enjoy your nap Anon?” Lady Miyabi asked me as I awoke yawning and stretching.
  32.
  33. “I apologize Lady Miyabi for falling asleep,” I said trying my best to sound honest.
  34.
  35. “It’s fine Anon, besides you looked so peaceful I couldn’t bring myself to wake you.” Lady Miyabi said, I noticed her face seemed to be tinged red. “It was cute honestly.”
  36.
  37. Lady Miyabi’s admission made me feel flustered a bit, but strangely happy. I quickened waking up and helped her out of the car before helping Matilda gather the day’s purchases to bring them inside. Following her instructions I put them in the one room I had yet to inspect, the room that lay on the opposite side of the foyer, turned out to be a ballroom. With it being my first time inside I was awed by the grandeur of it, the ceiling extended to the 2nd floor with a more ornate staircase and balcony served as almost a mirror to the 2nd floor landing. My awe aside, I made sure to put the packages on the large dining table before making my way to the washroom.
  38.
  39. I’m terribly sorry journal that my writing might be a disjointed today, but I’m rather tired. Maybe tomorrow I’ll sneak some of that ‘energy drink’ that Lady Miyabi bought. Though just a sip, I don’t want to steal a whole bottle, but a quick sip should suffice.
