gushing_granny: the master looks at dan puzzled as dan widens his stance

gushing_granny: he can see his pulse vividly now, waves of that tingling feeling continue to trickle through his body

gushing_granny: he shuts his eyes tight, concentrating as hard as he can

gushing_granny: "its controlled by using my imagination, motor functions, and emotions.....i have to coordinate all 3 at the same time....i understand now...."

gushing_granny: "imagining it gives me a basis....like how if you look at your hand and concentrate on it long enough you begin to feel its warmth and it twitches a bit..."

gushing_granny: "its just a bit more difficult with pulse because its invisible....."

gushing_granny: the wind moves faster and faster

gushing_granny: "its controlled by the left hemisphere of the brain, and specifically the amygdalla and the hypothalamus......."

gushing_granny: dan fills his brain with an intense desire to succeed and summons as much willpower as he can as he continues to visualize his pulse

gushing_granny: the wind begins to slow down, dan shuts his eyes tighter and tighter

gushing_granny: the master steps forward a bit "can he....really be......"

gushing_granny: the masters eyes widen as the wind gets slower and slower

gushing_granny: dan is concentrating as hard as he can, gathering his strength and focusing on his body posture and muscles

gushing_granny: "grrrrr......" dan summons all of his will power in one burst, he has his body and mind in perfect equilibrium, but the tendrils of energy begin to get smaller

gushing_granny: the master steps forward, in awe of dans concentration

gushing_granny: dan opens his eyes

gushing_granny: he outstretches his hand

gushing_granny: a blazing white aura envelops his body

gushing_granny: it streaks out from him like a spotlight, it illuminates the room in its radiance

gushing_granny: a small orb of energy escapes from the aura, it floats slightly above dans hand

gushing_granny: "got it." dan smiles

gushing_granny: "absolutely amazing." the master says, still in awe

gushing_granny: dan concentrates, the orb of energy gets bigger and smaller at his will

gushing_granny: his aura encircles the orb, and he shoots it away from his hand at an alarming speed, it creates a small, burning crater in the wall

gushing_granny: ".....you have demonstrated all 5 steps of kan art." the master calmly speaks

gushing_granny: tears well in his eyes as he walks toward dan and embraces him

gushing_granny: the aura around dan dissapears, dan begins tearing up as well

gushing_granny: "i couldnt have done it without you."
