  1. Judgement Parameters: The polish, creative ideas and features, how enjoyable and fun the hack can be, lack of hard to find/cryptic required paths, difficulty, if the hack can be finished without major guides or tools.
  2. A longer hack that has more to show will not be seen as better than a good short hack by default, since the averaged experience over the whole hack will be taken into account to get a relative comparison.
  3. *: Hack either doesn't end in traditional manner with credits or it isn't to be expected or likely for a player to reach the end, but has enjoyable athmosphere in general that one can have fun with (the ''*'' note will only be shown for 4 Star hacks, since I didn't bother categorizing hacks in this manner for hacks with lower rating and since there is no 5 Star hack of this kind).

  5. Rating for some hacks may be off by 1 Star, but not more, and ratings will not be given within the precision of ''half stars''; and for a very few hacks, the patches didn't work properly, which leads to a 1 Star or 0 Star result.
  6. Goal of this rating is such that rather new players have an oversight for the grand scheme of things, whereas hacks that are rated lower might still be enjoyable for more experienced players. The order of hacks in each subsection is alphabetically.

  9. Note that lack of changes from the original game went into the judging of hacks (otherwise consider them, outside of this list, among the 3 stars hacks). Basically, I considered a situation in which some new SM player that already is familiar with, has and knows about the original game would need to pay money or put in some kind of effort for a hack and thus would really want to make sure he/she will get a fresh and fantastic experience or journey out of his/her 1 choice.
