- One of my Grandmothers recipes
- Country Potato Cassarole
- 8-9 Med. Red Potatos (Cubed and cooked)
- 1/2 Lb Bacon (Cooked and crumbled)
- 2 Cups or 1/2 lb cheddar cheese (cubed)
- 2 Cups or 1/2 lb Sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)
- 1 and 1/2 Lg onion or two med. (finely chopped)
- 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
- 3/4 cip Sour cream
- 2 Tbs Minced onion tops
- 1 Tesp salt (or to taste)
- 1 Tesp pepper ''
- In large bowl combine potatoes & bacon. In another bowl combine rest of ingredients add to potatoes & toss to cover & transfer to baking dish. Bake uncovered.
- Lol really easy and good though I gotta say I never reallys how rich it is till I typed it all out
- And heres one of her sisters
- Cream of Broccoli Soup
- 12 Tbs Butter
- 2 Tbs chopped onions
- 2 Cups Chicken brothers4 Cups Milk
- 1 1/2 Tesp Sal
- Pepper to taste
- Dash of nutmeg
- 1 Package frozen or chopped Brccolli (I use fresh and cook it a little, you can use any veg)
- In a medium Pan heat butter and saute onions 1 and 1/2 to 2 min. Blend in flout, Gradually. Add broth, Milk, Salt, Pepper and nutmeg. Stir until smooth. Cook on low heat and until soup is thickened. Add broccoli and heat 3 Minutes. Brussels sprouts are good and can add carrots
- And for the red neck boys
- Brand fire beans
- 1 gal. Beans (Canned)
- 1 gal. Chili (Plain - no beans)
- 1 gal. Tomatoes
- 1 1/2 lbs bacon (Fried)
- 2 Onions
- 1 Bell pepper
- 1 Garlic pod (Whole thing)
- 4 tbs chili mix or any package of store bought
- 5-6 Jalapenos - seeded
- 8 Serranos - unseeded
